    I have been working at Arc'teryx full-time

    Pros

Great company. Flexible in work-life balance. Lot's of creative people that do get the work done. Arc'teryx makes the best outdoor sports apparel there is.

    Cons

could have somewhat better secondary benefits. Sometimes too many cooks in the kitchen.

    Advice to Management

Keep it playful, keep improving on benefits. And most of all keep making the best product out there. Never compromise on quality!

    I worked at Arc'teryx full-time

    Pros

The company is full of like minded people. Lots of opportunity for advancement.

    Cons

The turnover is much higher than it used to be. But there are lots of great people being brought in at the same time.

    Advice to Management

You are doing a good job on increasing benefits for all of the employees.

I worked at Arc'teryx full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Staff deals, staff events, good pay, great benefits. Lots of room for growth and expansion is rapid

    Cons

When I left it was going from medium to large sized so there were policies favoring a small company but then there were some universal changes across the board that most people were not into.

    Advice to Management

Make sure to allow staff to take vacation and use the products they sell and develop! More perks for outdoor adventures would be nice.

    I have been working at Arc'teryx full-time

    Pros

Best part of working for Arcteryx is extremely skilled and trustworthy senior management team and a culture that supports work-life balance

    Cons

Worst part of working for Arcteryx is "growth-pain". Never enough resources to get the work done efficiently as the company is growing so fast.

    Advice to Management

Try to convince the owner/parent that you have to strenghten the day to day management skills of middle management as well as support functions (IT, finance, HR) when you are aiming for sales growth. And not strengthen only the commercial functions in the expense of already struggling support platforms.

      I have been working at Arc'teryx full-time

      Pros

Colleagues are energetic and are looking to get things done. It's a fast paced work environment. It's great to be a part of a quality product that is exploding on the market.

      Cons

There is a lot of entrenchment. Lots of dead weight that has little to no knowledge of business practices outside the organization.

      I worked at Arc'teryx full-time

      Pros

You will work with talented people that have a lot of experience and whom you will learn so much from. Flexible work schedule, self managed approach welcomed. A great set of resources to support design.

      Cons

It is a bigger company now than in the past and the company is experiencing some major growing pains. A lot of major changes in the past few years that have resulted in a lot of new people and the loss of some long timers.
