    I have been working at Arc'teryx full-time

    Pros

Lots of flexibility in role and no micro-management

    Cons

Lots of infighting Only managers who have been there for 5+ years are accepted

    Advice to Management

Get rid of those managers who are playing games so that you don't keep losing those employees and managers who are doing great work in order to keep this company moving in the right direction

I have been working at Arc'teryx full-time for more than a year

    Pros

If you love the outdoors and love opportunity, this is the place to build a career. With so much change on the business front in the last few years, there are ample ways of getting involved and being part of something really special.

    Cons

As with all growing companies, there are growing pains. if you love complaining like some of the negative reviews on here, my question is what did you do yourself to have influence and effect change? It's all about cause and effect.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening and engaging to find solutions to drive the business forward culture first.

I worked at Arc'teryx full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Employee discount Local Brand Nice head office

    Cons

People are promoted to their highest level of incompetidence HR is there only to protect managers People often cry because it's such an awful working environment Inconsistent messaging - some departments are allowed to live the brand while others can't even take a lunch or go to the gym Lots of backstabbing and gossip Culturally it's the worst place I have ever experienced. They do not live their brand, they squash...

    Advice to Management

Take a hard look at what's going on and the mass exodus of staff. Take their exit feedback seriously.

I worked at Arc'teryx full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Arc'teryx attracts really great people, many of which who are outdoor or sport enthusiasts. It is great when the employees have the same or similar interests.

    Cons

Arc'teryx is growing significantly which is great for opportunities but it has lost some of the things that had made it the best culture. It is still a good place to work however.

    Advice to Management

I think it is super if management would consider ways of reducing the amount of people leaving because it is a bit impersonal compared to only a few years before when I just started. Big changes in a small amount of time.
