I worked at Arcadia.io full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Smart, hardworking people with growth midsets throughout the organization. Generally young culture

    Cons

I worked there when their growth slowed considerably and management didn't have a clue what to do. It left many of the young, high talented, well educated workforce at loose ends.

    Advice to Management

    Be a bit more humble.

I worked at Arcadia.io full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

In the right space, challenging work when available. Some peers were really great to work with and provided excellent support and assistance. These are people I will remain in contact with for life.

    Cons

Arrogant peers focused on their school credentials rather than their work accomplishments. We all attended great schools but time to prove what you can do as an individual. Management is a mixed bag, most of the good ones (and very bad) have left the company, only a couple holdovers from the acquisition are great and still with the company. You will quickly learn there are managers with favorites who get the... easiest work and the most recognition, it's a shame as so many work very hard, get no support and wind up leaving, typically to a client. Interview process was pathetic, took forever, met with a dozen people and took months, I have heard similar experience from others. Mgt drives employees to force additional hours on projects to meet forecast and sales commission this makes for very disgruntled employees who feel they are cheating clients.

    Advice to Management

Great marketing pitch and in the right space with limited competition, work on providing value to customers and less on dragging out projects for the hourly revenue..

I worked at Arcadia.io for less than a year

    Pros

work hours are flexible and most people work from home often

    Cons

People feel they are smarter than what they actually are. For the years it has been in operation, it should have grown rapidly which is not the case. Simple processes are made felt like complex ones. Not much to do and the systems in place aren't up to the mark either. The hiring process is strange in that they don't know what they are hiring for. Clear discrimination between contractors and employees. No values... at all.

    Pros

The working environment is very dynamic, it is a process of learning when you are working there. Nice colleagues around.

    Cons

Lack benefits of very big companies but still growing and is good for consultants and business analysts. Space for salary :p

    I have been working at Arcadia.io full-time

    Pros

Play with data - lots of it, and have a positive effect on the healthcare industry. Supportive, but demanding culture. Friendly environment inside and outside of work. Smart enthusiastic colleagues.

    Cons

Not always a clear career path. Might be good for some, bad for others.

    Advice to Management

Stay the course, continue to foster an environment that allows people to work on challenges not always related to the day-to-day.

I worked at Arcadia.io full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The company has great people. Almost all are some of the hardest working, smartest and most driven individuals I’ve worked with. It is doing things that matter, which from its start as a consulting company is a big change. The culture has remained fun, with a lot of flexibility.

    Cons

It’s not always clear what work needs to be done, or at times it feels like the first time, but then you find out others have done it for years. It would have been nice to talk with those people at the start of a project.

    Advice to Management

Foster cross communication in the company, when you find the right person they want to help.

    I worked at Arcadia.io

    Pros

The people are young and energetic. A good group of hard working individuals.

    Cons

Very young and inexperienced. Indecisive decision making attributes. IE afraid to make a mistake. I was an independent contractor and it took forever to get paid (over 90 days!). Expense reporting was problematic and still a year later have not received all of travel expenses. HR seemed to be a turnstile of people coming and going.

    Advice to Management

Set levels of expectations on payment for contractors and stick to it!
