Good health benefits. Great teamwork amongst workers (Not including management)

I wish I could give 0 stars, or 1,000 rotten tomatoes. HR gasses you up coming into Archcare, leading you to believe they are an organization that appreciates, and uplifts their staff, shortly after beginning your role, you will find out it is all bologna! For example, this is a visiting NURSE agency, and Archcare has not acknowledged our NURSES for nurse's day since the merge of our companies. The nursing homes have celebrations, luncheons, giveaways and more throughout nurse's week, as the facilities have patients and families trafficking through. Homecare is an office not open to public traffic, therefore there is "no need" for acknowledgement from Archcare corporation. Workload expectations are unrealistic. They continue to "Right-Size" cutting positions, and dumping the workloads on already overloaded staff. The leadership team makes demands, yet they cannot provide direction on how to meet the demands. The most common response when asking for clarity and direction is "We'll talk later," but later never comes, however disciplinary action/counsel is carried out for not following the unclear direction. The current home care division of Archcare which was absorbed 3 years ago, was an agency that had deep roots in several communities for more than 100 years. Many of the staff had been with this agency for many years prior to the merge, and are/ were committed, dedicated, loyal team players. There is no respect, or consideration for such longevity. Home care is treated like the "Step-child" of Archcare, and all employees can feel it.

Teamwork- each and every employee goes above and beyond to offer high quality care and a clean, safe environment! As a new supervisor to the healthcare facility with many years experience in the hospital setting I find the CNAs and LPNs that work here to have exceptional knowledge and high levels of respect for each other and their patients. They know the value of professional nursing care and the importance of teamwork! I’m very impressed by the quality care they provide and the kindness I see! A big thumbs up to Archcare at Ferncliff! I’m proud to be part of your team!

There is a huge turnaround and we are short staffed.
