      Pros

staff is great people to work with, comradeship, caring for participants . PACE was great the first three years but last year it changed with new leaders who care about the money and not the patients, They do not listen to staff and look down on people who don't agree with them. Bullies.

      Cons

new leadership turned a great program into a struggle; no fun to work here; no one cares anymore

      Pros

salary business hours care coins plum benefits

      Cons

overworked no support no accountability no organization literally run like a chicken without a head no open approach without repercussion the new hr leadership will not answer any request nor give you accurate information if you correct them and request to be given in writing where they are getting these so-called state regulation /policies lets just say I am still waiting effort / hard work is not appreciated, I myself have been known to come in extra early to help the department catch up or get ahead and was told "that's because I choose to, instead of a thank you for your efforts although you don't have to. managers can address you disrespectfully and a lot of times nothing will be done until it's beyond the point of no return FMLA is a nightmare with this company and they do not know the process nor state regulations and I myself went through denials to then be approved then denied to then be approved again, to be advised every time I am out documentation is required to be submitted recently we were advised to come on Glassdoor and please give positive reviews because of their bad ratings and as you can see no one has FOR a Reason!

      Horrible Experience

Jan 1, 2019 - Anonymous Employee in Staten Island, NY
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Free company apparel, mugs, RN. LPN and aides

      Cons

Management does not know what they are doing. No one in management is transparent — daily double standards; lies and yes-man culture. There's a lack of innovation and openness to ideas. There's a lack of communication. Systems and people are outdated with technology. You are accountable for everyone's actions. Management provides you with fake help, and HR has no backbone, etc....

Dangerously UNDERSTAFFED, unprofessional teamwork & management, cultural favoritism & negative environment!

Dec 27, 2017 - Certified Nursing Assistant in New York, NY

      Pros

It’s 3 blocks from the new 2nd ave “Q” Train subway line, in a good area of midtown, near the FDR drive..you aren’t supervised as much, you can get a way with a low job performance & as long as you catered to the alert residents oh your be a favorite, none of them will report you as long as you do the favor before sunset!

      Cons

Dangerously understaff, residents companions don’t assist according to the facility rules yet they will report you to administration & family, hidden cameras in residents room without the staff being notified unless your coworker “likes you “, RAT infested place w/minimum pest control procedures( while caring for a resident in there room, 1 ran over my foot) I am afraid of rats, I can managed mouse but subway-size rats in a room when they jump out I scream frightening the residents. I’ve seen 2 jump down from a residents night table where they kept cookies at! Linen & Diapers are always scarce, residents or family dnt have respect for you & threatens to report u to administration if u dnt catered to them, 80% of residents aren’t Alert x3 & suffer advance DEMENTIA! RN don’t help & barely do wound care, favoritism among staff based on culture/ethnicity, the facility front desk Receptionist is so rude, transfer you to an ext before your finish the question of who u want to speak too, EVERYONE in management, RN supervisors & administration always has a face of disgust when they see you. I don’t recommend this place for NO ONE to work but if u must please have atleast 2-3 years work experience just to cover yourself so you dnt make a mistake (training is inadequate to work independent on an assignment of average 12 residents per shift) staff loves to write incident reports for EVERYTHING that happens, dnt sneeze on the residents( their write you up for tht too)

If you enjoy stress and lack of training, this is the place to be. Don't apply if you are planning for a future.

      Pros

The pay is ok but dont count on staying long enough to make your own personal plans with your salary. You get a cool water bottle at the corporate orientation. Lots of places to have lunch downtown Brooklyn.

      Cons

Going home with headaches everyday. Understaffed. Everything is incomplete and no one truly knows what to do.
