    Pros

Working with Microsoft is the best benefit. Learning Excel I more depth, such as v-lookups.

    Cons

Management who don't know how to do their jobs and promoted for the wrong reasons. No raises. Nepotism. Horrible benefits. Micromanage even top performers.

    Advice to Management

Start hiring leads that have management experience.

I have been working at Archway Marketing full-time

    Pros

People working there seem to be very friendly and tolerate the lack of support by management since 'it's just a job'. If in IT, you may be allowed to work remotely. Pay scale may be good to start.

    Cons

A fear-based workplace, even for lower level managers. Edict to not spend money results in lack of tools to work efficiently and poor working environment overall. Very low, if any, annual wage increase. Next step is to cut wages / salaries, so no one is safe. Management doesn't support it's people and cuts long term employees without warning, even at Christmas time. Since company was formed by multiple acquisitions, there are separate management cliques and disparity in how employees are treated.

    Advice to Management

Show concern for the employees; your goal is to have all employees succeed, not just yourself. Maintain your facilities and provide tools for individuals to create a good working environment.

I have been working at Archway Marketing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working with anyone below Management is a great experience.

    Cons

Constant state of re-organizing the company structure. My tenure had 4 CEO's. Never any idea if your job is going to be eliminated. Constant state of confusion. The people who actually do care, have no means to move forward. Company creates a box where neither the client or the employee has a path of success. Company uses fear and obfuscation to create at atmosphere where long term employees can hold projects hostage, this is due to the many acquisitions the company has made around the country. No sure plan for the future. Clients always in a state of confusion about their own projects. Turnover is a big problem. Within the first 3 months of 2017, over 40 employees no longer with company due to self preservation or what the company likes to call "reorganization and consolidation" which is the default state. VP and SVP levels are always in flux. People moved into important project positions with little to no experience in the position. Nepotism is rampant. Spouses can work in the same facility and remain due to the inability of the company caring about it's business, which in turn causes certain clients projects to become hijacked by a team whose sole purpose is to keep their jobs. Lack of company structure and SDLC best practices creates never ending projects that never deliver contractual agreements to clients.

    Advice to Management

No-advice. Stay where you are and I will watch your fall.

I worked at Archway Marketing full-time

    Pros

Soft benefits of working on Microsoft campus

    Cons

Lots of nepotism, double standards and a management group that acts more like a exclusive sorority than professionals. If they spent half as much time working like they expect their underlings to do as they do socializing and being bff's they might actually get complimented, but they don't. Snapping selfies of themselves in the restroom during work hours, posting on Facebook and then seeing all of their fellow teamleads commenting on i5 shortly thereafter. They truly must have better things to do but get away with it. If an underling was caught doing that they would be written up, put on a performance improvement plan, and or terminated. Highly hypocritical work environment.

    Advice to Management

Investigate your Fargo management group. There is a reason the turnover rate is so high.

    Pros

Flexible hours is about all I can think of regarding pros of working at this company. There isnt anything else.

    Cons

Too much upper management change. No raises or reviews for over three years. Company does not care about the employees.

    Advice to Management

Regular reviews and more competitve salaries to keep the best employees. Many very good long term employees have left in recent years.

I have been working at Archway Marketing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The benefits are decent, your team members can be awesome.

    Cons

Many more cons. Little to no job training. Since you are not trained correctly, when something goes wrong, you are blamed and written up. Team leads and Senior team leads do not fight for mistakes but throw you under the bus. The reviews and raises are a joke. You are told you will receive a curtain amount on this date for doing all of these "milestones" but they will nickle and dime you to death so they don't have to pay you for a good job. It was great for the first 6 months and then it has been an avalanche of horrible management and broken promises.

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees! You are so worried about the bottom line you are alienating smart, hard working employees because you don't pay them what they are worth. Management promotes people before they are ready and it causes horrible backlash among the employees. When you don't have a team lead that knows the job they are supposed to be managing, how do you expect employees to get behind that team lead? Listen to your workers when they tell you something is wrong or you ask their opinion. You have made this company into a police state and you are driving your employees out in droves. Hope you are happy with yourselves!
