I have been working at Ardagh Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

good insurance, good pay, overtime readily available, 6 days of vacation after first year.

    Cons

Although it is union, it is easy to get terminated for the smallest things. Also, it can get very hot working for this company. Rotating schedule.

    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Ardagh Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Pay and benefits are excellent

    Cons

Weekly rotating shift with only 1 day off before shift changes again No work/life balance Hand-packing is a pain in the legs, feet, back and butt and if you complain loudly and aggressively enough to your supervisor they will probably place you in a different job for that day. Too much favoritism - if you're friends with management/supervisors you can write your own ticket.

    Advice to Management

Treat everybody the same. Look into discussing with the union of course, other scheduling options to improve work/life balance Have only a few selectors to train new selectors, so everyone is trained the same way.
