I worked at Arena Football League full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fast-paced super fun atmosphere. Great coworkers/teammates. Gameday atmosphere is unlike any other. Very fun company to be a part of.

    Cons

Lack of consistency in the front office. Shuffling of teams in and out of the league causes stress with job certainty at times.

    Advice to Management

    None

I worked at Arena Football League full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Being a Pro Football Player getting paid to play a sport is always fun.

    Cons

Pay was based on a standard player contract, meaning each player was payed the same regardless of skill level. A lot of players would receive additional payments under the table and teams would be fined of caught. What is wrong with paying players what they're worth?

    Advice to Management

Its tough to run a league but its been running for 20+ years. Less Teams, Less games, invest in your players take care of them.

I have been working at Arena Football League as a contractor

    Pros

This league offers great opportunities to further your professional football career to higher positions for other organizations such as the NFL or CFL.

    Cons

None of the games are played on real grass.

    Advice to Management

I would love to reach out more to the people in the NOLA community. It would also be nice to see more support from city of New Orleans.

I worked at Arena Football League as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Great experience in a field that is tough to break into.
Given the ability to grow and travel

    Cons

    Pay was not always there
    Work environment was poor

I worked at Arena Football League as an intern

    Pros

Fun environment and very understanding of my schedule. Interview process was very quick and painless. They were very professional.

    Cons

It would have been nice if they offered some sort of transportation reimbursement.
Because the company was just starting up again it was slightly understaffed and mismanaged, there would be times where I'd be sitting there with nothing to do so I would be given meaningless busy work.
