    Pros

Fair compensation for adjuncts, good communication in the departments through monthly meetings

    Cons

Multiple discussions in week 1 and mandatory calls to students, a very lax late policy for students to submit work

I have been working at Argosy University part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Argosy provided my start/introduction to teaching on a collegiate level. I've worked for the university for nearly 7 years.

    Cons

Advancement from an adjunct into another role is not easy.

    Advice to Management

    I've experienced the best managers!

I worked at Argosy University part-time

    Pros

Flexible hours, -accommodating to schedule changes, independent

    Cons

Not a lot of money - feel like a babysitter at time for adulta

    Advice to Management

Take the lab assistants opinions into consideration as they have their feet on ground and management doesn't know what goes on

I worked at Argosy University full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You work with incredible co-workers everyday; the programs and resulting degrees are legit/excellent; best/most fulfilling job I ever had.

    Cons

Third-party call monitoring can end in your termination based on THEIR interpretation of what was said. I had no infractions before getting my first; no chance to correct or defend what was actually said-just terminated.

    Advice to Management

There has to be more accountability in the decision to terminate productive, hard-working ARs. I was told I said things that I know I didn't say, but was never given a chance to improve or even defend the bogus allegations against me. Too easy for management to let someone go knowing the person being let go won't have any say.

Classes are prepared and uniform across all campus locations.

    Cons

New program, has some management glitches that need to be ironed out.

    Advice to Management

Listen to faculty input as well as students.

I worked at Argosy University full-time

    Pros

Great, friendly work environment with friends made for life. Professional development opportunities and room for promotion and/or transfer.

    Cons

Towards the end, with the downfall of the for profit education system budgets were slim and demands and initiatives were desperate.

I have been working at Argosy University full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Argosy University is extremely compliant to all rules and regulations. Students are treated with the upmost request and admiration. A lot of opportunities to advance your career and better yourself.

    Cons

Constant change. High turnover in VP and higher positions therefore because of the ever changing world of for profit education. Very little, if any, recognition or praise.

    Advice to Management

Create a five year plan and stick to it regardless of the changes in for profit education.
