    Pros

Solid Telco , System, embedded , connectivity skill sets . Some of the engineers are top notch, world class . rare to find such talent
    Solid marquee customers

    Cons

Aricent has just beginning to realize that they have to change and adapt fast to a changing world.
Most of the company are steeped up in the old world. Todays keywords are cloud, mobile, convergence , security and they have to invest.
If we dont see Aricent investing in some of the modern technologies and concepts, we will soon be irrelevant.
We need more clients, not just in the wired and wilreless world.
We need great sales guys who think out of the box, and invest in building client relationships and growing accounts
marketing is poor or non existent.
no brand visibility outside Aricent campus
I miss the old Aricent /Hughes , where we were highly respected and much sought after

    Advice to Management

sr management is pathetic and UNINSPIRING. still steeped up in the old dial up days.
look around ... see the changes and ask yourself what are you doing about it

Mr CEO, please look around and see if you have inspiring leaders or just order takers ?
I have been in this company for around 8 years, and dont even have a clue what some of the senior management does

    Pros

Company offers great opportunities in terms of carrier growth. Some really nice people to work with. If you prove your worth, you will get all that you need to grow.

    Cons

Salaries are not that great. Benefits are also not very attractive.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the way you guys understand employees concerns and always try to help them. But if you can work on good compensations , Aricent would be the best place to work for.
