    Pros

    Global Company with decent benefits

    Cons

Australian invasion - staff is subject to no work life balance; hours are very long; performance reviews are manipulated, employees are not appreciated.

    Advice to Management

Treat your hard working employees with respect.

    Pros

Flexible schedule, insurance so so, some talented co-workets.

    Cons

Management is a failure, politics heavy, top heavy to many chiefs not enough Indians. Projects cannot move forward without any direction, communication its the worst. Management is not talented everybody hits walls during projects and nobody helps out. Not sure why aristocrat not sending somebody to evaluate the studio performance. Not a good place to work if you're project driven you'll be stuck in neutral for long periods of time. Insurance is not best, PTO time it is the worst I've seen. Promotion are based on political status not achievements.

    Advice to Management

Customers should be first then employees if you can keep them both in target with your projects it is a win-win situation. The political driven management style had to change for the better of employees and in fairness to them. Aristocrat where the heck are you?

    Pros

    Gaming is a dynamic business

    Cons

Watch out for this place. There are a lot of showboaters and politics is rife. They talk about core values, but that is all they do, they talk about core values instead of acting their core values. Lookout if you leave this company to go to a company they perceive as a competitor...they will make your life very very hard. On yeah, those recent positive reviews you've read they are being systematically written by a group of their "future leaders".

    Advice to Management

    Cut the crap!

    Pros

Most employees other than some management and some human resources are wonderful to work with.

    Cons

Some management should not be placed where they are. Performance issues should be addressed formally with clear goals to improve their performance at all levels.

    Advice to Management

Think outside of their box they seem to have climbed into.

Company does a lot of special events for employees.

    Cons

Too many unqualified people in management positions, very high school clicky atmosphere. No room for advancement unless you kiss a boss's behind

    Advice to Management

VP needs to fire 75% of the current directors and start from scratch

    Pros

    Interesting and challenging work. Snacks.

    Cons

Little to no guidance up front, rarely any feedback positive or negative. Little to no direction even as to tasks that need to be completed. Poor management all the way around. As mentioned by others, no reason needed to fire you. Management made up issues against employees to justify termination, which was actually based on anything besides your performance.

    Advice to Management

Start training on day one, get your people up to speed and spend the time with them to help them do what it is you want them to do. Regular feedback so that employees know where to work on improving.

    Pros

    * Great game cabinets and content
    * Good bonus
    * Good system products
    * Customer service with clients are top notch

    Cons

    * Horrible culture. No more celebrating huge wins. Pressure to do more, more, more.
    * No sincere thanks you for a job well done
    * Leadership is like the Game of Thrones episode. Very cut throat. This filters down to the subordinates
    * No one is happy. Do more with less. Sell more even if the product won't work and clients end up pulling it out.
    * Brooks is a horrible leader and so is Maureen. Brooks is sarcastic and mean. They are not people persons. They don't care about people they only care about the bottom line. $$$$$$$$$

    Advice to Management

What happened? Did greed take over your brains and employees who put their heart and soul into the company mean nothing? Can't you see your employees leave work each day beaten and unhappy?

I have been working at Aristocrat Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Its a large company and the pace is similar to that of other large companies. Some good work done at good pace. Other work done is too fast and sloppy because of an external need.

    Cons

Recruiting process is terrible. Months and months delays, phone tag, only to have positions changed. Recruiting was just a window into the operation. Opportunities that should have been there were filled with friends of the 'leaders'.

    Advice to Management

    Truly execute to values.
