I have been working at Aristocrat Technologies (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Travel
    - Working with a team of talented creatives
    - Stable
    - People care about you and acknowledge your presence pretty often

    Cons

On-boarding could use work by giving teaching new employees even more about the past games, a practice project to better and more quickly learn the studio's production style and process, and a way to clearly introduce all the terms and mechanics in casino games.

    Pros

They pay well so you have to stay, other companies Vegas don't pay as much

    Cons

Our manager just shared the results of the global survey with our team. Wow. I didn't know it was that bad. Very low engagement across the company but stunning to see the US in such bad shape. Really makes everyone in our department feel good to tell the truth. Something has to be done about our culture. It is rotten to the core. If you are applying to work here, ask for the survey results, the data speaks for itself.

    Advice to Management

We won't last with the terrible US culture

I have been working at Aristocrat Technologies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Team was warm friendly, answered many of my questions during interview process, the relocation process has been flawless (moved from 3k miles away), and great welcoming experience as a new hire.
Very flexible environment for work life balance, all the folks on the team want to WIN!
Truly a global company that needs global thinkers and leaders.

    Cons

Lots of personnel changes so you must be flexible to change. From what I can see, it is all for the better as Aristocrat continues to grow as a global leader/.

    Pros

Company buys their employees dinners when having to work 12shifts.

    Cons

Company doesn't care about your life schedule just that works gets done regardless of the large amounts of OT done. Employees are left to fend for themselves company lacks the concept of full training in all levels. Their motto figure it out on your own. Also not a place to advance within easily a lot of butts on advancements.

    Advice to Management

Care for your employees as much as you care for your bonuses. Respect!

I have been working at Aristocrat Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Gaming is a dynamic business

    Cons

Watch out for this place. There are a lot of showboaters and politics is rife. They talk about core values, but that is all they do, they talk about core values instead of acting their core values. Lookout if you leave this company to go to a company they perceive as a competitor...they will make your life very very hard. On yeah, those recent positive reviews you've read they are being systematically written by a group of their "future leaders".

    Advice to Management

    Cut the crap!

    Pros

For the most part people are friendly. The company does a great job of providing extras that make the office a great place to be. Great benefits package. Lots of opportunities to get involved in the community.

    Cons

Departments work in silos and don't communicate with each other. Management expects to receive the best from the employee without providing adequate training and support. Office politics are terrible and cause the company to lose good people.

    Advice to Management

Provide training to your employees and make sure managers follow the guidelines to get the best from your employees.
