    Pros

the pros would be the clothing discounts and vouchers and also the people you work with (some girls) and the benefits

    Cons

Upper Management and DMs do not care about your well being and overwork you and not give you time off

    Pros

Decent pay. Some people are nice (but usually those people end up leaving the job). Room to grow and make more money (throughout sales positions, but only if you do well).

    Cons

Cut throat and very unfair environment. Lots of drama/catty girls, backstabbing, fighting over sales, etc. They portray sales goals like it's a team effort, but it's not. You're all individuals fighting over sales/trying to make more money. My manager at the time described it as "a game." You need to have thick skin to work there and be able to fight for your sales goals. If you don't make it, you'll be cut.

    Pros

Put their people first (even in a crisis like Covid all staff stayed employed with full salaries - held an online sale with all proceeds going to staff and their families) Keep their teams connected Consistently challenged Great leadership Team building/ Teamwork is a top priority Great Product

    Cons

    None at the moment

    Pros

You get a discount on their clothes.

    Cons

Extremely competitive and intense with little to no payoff. They expect a lot of the sales associates and train you to push clothes on people that comes off awkward and fake. Very stressful environment with long shifts and poor pay for the amount of pressure they put on you. Poor training and unrealistic standards.

Learned and still learning tons of transferable skills

    Pros

    - Some flexibility with scheduling (sick days, vacation, etc.) since it's the store level - Real connection on a personal level with upper management and subordinate staff - Very often, customers make my day! There will always be grouchy customers but some customers bring the sunshine into our store. - Company culture and objectives are inspirational, despite whether those objectives are enacted by staff - Room for advancement depending on background education/competencies and company need - Encourages honest and open communication

    Cons

    - 0.5 hour break for a shift of over 5.5 hours. Does not enforce paid for break periods - Work schedule released the week before - As a manager, held accountable for entire store under your watch - even if it were another manager that was responsible for something amiss or executed wrong. You have to catch it before they do - Veteran employees have tendency of being very 'diva' like - as a long-time employee myself I don't tolerate it but these types of staff will bully new hires - It's true that very competent and experienced people will just not be a fit for Aritzia - compared to other retailers, Aritzia employees fit a certain mold and take a lot more crap that other retail employees are accustomed to

    Pros

Great environment and atmosphere with good pay

    Cons

Management needs to schedule people accordingly (contract or not) instead of having employees on call. They also play favouritism and are very bias.
