I worked at Arizona State University full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, tuition waiver, regular hours

    Cons

Overall- must pay to park as an employee
Police Department- If your personality conflicts with others you will be forced out, unopen to change or improvements, attempts to use the open-door policy will be met with resistance, unwilling to work with individuals with disabilities for non-officer positions

    Advice to Management

Look at the managers in areas of high turn over, its possible those managers are actually the problem. If you have an open-door policy, please listen when there are issues

    Pros

ASU is a large institution with many opportunities for professional development and growth
Colleagues were amazing individuals with incredible talent

    Cons

Parking on campus is expensive and may still be far from the building your office
It is run like a business which sometimes felt at odds with the intent of education professionals

I have been working at Arizona State University as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

It really depends on where you are able to find a job here. I am on a contract job, and I can easily say that the professors are easygoing and fun to work with. I've also worked part time in a different office at ASU, and the same goes.

    Cons

Payroll likes to skip your checks sometimes.
