I have been working at Arizona State University (More than 5 years)

    Pros

World-class anthropologists, archaeologists, and evolutionary theorists, fully-funded PhD programs, and a trans-disciplinary environment make ASU one of the best programs in the world for studying human nature and our evolution.

    Cons

The only downside to ASU is its lack of prestige recognized by laypeople. For graduate programs, the people who know the field (the people who will matter to one's career) know that ASU is a world-renowned research university, associated with the likes of the Max Planck Institute, the Santa Fe Institute, and Harvard.
