Pros
This organization has a very positive culture, with strong values. It is a fast paced environment, but teams collaborate with one another. You can get a great deal of experience with project work. Coworkers are smart, engaged and push you to be better. It is an organization that constantly talks about serving the members and doing things for the community. You get time off to volunteer, as well as PTO for culture day, birthday and all the other holidays. It has been a very good career stop for me.
Cons
It’s fast paced, but I don’t see that as a con. Sometimes ya hard to keep up with changes, but a company this size has to move fast to stay competitive.

Pros
There are a few leaders at the org who are trying to great work and are good managers, if you get one of them, you’ll likely stay for longer. Benefits aren’t bad but you need to stay for 5 years to receive your 401K match. Coworkers are nice, good people, and everyone bonds through the pain.
Cons
Surprised all of the reviews on here are five stars when we have had so much turnover in the past year. ACFCU doesn’t have a plan in place for when people leave and coworkers are left with high workloads, with no additional comp. Unless you are senior leadership, your salary will be well below $100,000. And there is no room for growth within this small of a place. Culture is ok. Most people are overworked and on multiple three-day weekends we have all staff working days. There also seems to be a culture of people hating leadership and then being silenced when problems are brought up. The ceo is the final decision maker and people have definitely left because of her.

Communication between departments is very poor The reason for the high turnover is the pay scale for the area is not good, they revised the medical benefits last year which took a competitive plan and made it horrible especially for older employees. There is no supplemental life insurance offered to your spouse or kids There is no parental leave which is Un-heard of for 2023 There is a 90 day waiting period for PTO which again is Un-heard of in the year 2023

Pros
ACFCU has a great company culture overall. The benefits package are an upside. Most of the staff is easy to get along with, which makes your very busy work day not as bad as it could be.
Cons
The pay should be better, which would help with staffing issues. The workload can be a bit much at times. Unfortunately, micromanagement is an issue, but not for everyone.

Super friendly and supportive culture. People genuinely want to help coworkers and members. This organization is all about making the company and community better places
Cons
As a smaller organization, people wear multiple hats and there aren't always clear lines on who should be doing what. But, everyone pitches in to get things done.

It's a smaller company so there aren't as many clear boundaries.

This place was by far the best place that I have ever worked and I have worked in many different companies. Great managers, very effective communication, updated technology and very member service oriented. Very diverse and great benefits and compensation.

I can't think of any.
