Pros
The Firm's combination of technology and expertise in specialized areas sets Armanino apart from other accounting and consulting Firms. There are so many smart and incredibly impressive people working at Armanino - it is a privilege to to work with, collaborate with and learn from so many great, diverse people.
Cons
In a demanding profession, it can be a difficult environment for some because of the high growth expectations.

Pros
Armanino is a firm that has a lot of opportunity for growth, both at an individual level and a firm level. It will challenge you but also push you to excel and learn to be top industry experts. There is a lot of growth opportunity and a lot of internal support and open discussion on how to make partner, the path to get there, and how the firm can help you get to that role. If you decide partner isn't for you, there are a lot of alternative routes and firm mobility/work flexibility if you so choose. In general, the firm pushes people to excel in their strengths, but is a best fit for people who are self-motivated. There are also a lot of firm initiatives that help make employees feel more at home--women's advancement, a diversity and inclusion team, accelerated path to managers, and lots of volunteer opportunities to name a few. This firm is one where you can really be involved and get your name out there, working with people across different offices and industries--it's a very big team environment.
Cons
The industry is tough to be in with a shortage of good people, so if you happen to lose someone, it is difficult to replace them timely (this is probably common with a lot of firms and not just a con of Armanino). There is also no bonus structure, so no way to reward good performers (outside of waiting for promotions) vs. poor performers, and I think this makes people less incentivized to excel.

Pros
Flexibility of public accounting (can be offline when you need to but make it up when you can), local leaders are great
Cons
Firm leadership doesn’t understand local office culture, projecting innovation but clearly behind the times, acquiring companies too frequently for the poor admin infrastructure, apparently we don’t have any money for fun (rumors of drink tickets for the holiday party?), daily time entry is life or death with no context for why

Pros
Some of the people here are really great. What can taint this is a real disconnect of leadership and those below them.
Cons
The only thing that is constant is change. Everything changes often.

Pros
Having been here 3 years, I can still say this is the best job I have ever had. The work I do is meaningful, innovative, and interesting. I'm challenged in my role yet am able to maintain a great work/life balance. My boss is 100% the best leader for whom I have ever worked and always has my back. My colleagues are smart, helpful, and truly want to work as a team to be successful. I really thought that 3 years in, I would be restless but not the case. I highly recommend Armanino.
Cons
Look, every place has cons. But honestly, I would not put anything here.

Pros
The entrepreneurial spirit at Armanino is amazing to be a part of. Any idea is listened to by the team and the guidance/support provided by mentors is amazing (shout out Dan Jones!). Your experience at Armanino is truly what YOU want from your career and your mentors do whatever they can to get you there. Super proud to be a part of this firm and team.
Cons
Life/work balance can be a bit challenging to juggle at times but public account inherently has its peaks and valleys. The flexibility at Armanino allows one to take advantage of these cycles and make balance what you want it to be.

Pros
Lots of non billable culture/growth meetings
Cons
See how many auditors got laid off. See how many restructurings have been going on. Yet they claim the firm culture is wonderful.
