I have been working at Armanino (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great work-life balance, casual dress code, lots of company parties/get-togethers (makes it easy to get to know co-workers quickly), everyone is so friendly and seems genuinely happy to work here

    Cons

I found the salary ranges to be a bit lower than market, especially for the Bay Area, but not so low that the other advantages (benefit package, working environment, etc.) don't make up for it.

    Pros

Armanino is awesome! Of all of the employers I've worked for, I truly feel valued and that my work actually matters. There are a lot of committees and opportunities for staff to get involved, which is one of my favorite parts of the firm. Advancement and movement is encouraged. Flexible schedule and jeans everyday are huge perks. We're a growing firm, which makes everything fast-paced and ever-changing. The managing partner and other executives are very involved, easy to approach, and attend many events that the firm puts on. Overall, an excellent place to work.

    Cons

As stated above, we are constantly growing and you have to be able to adjust, fast. Work is sometimes dropped immediately on you with a short deadline. I don't see this as a con, but it requires flexibility and great time management.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work - I think your visibility to staff, positivity, and overall culture provided at the firm truly makes us shine as a great place to work.

I have been working at Armanino full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

One of the most unique aspects of working at Armanino is the family culture. I'm a recent college grad, so transitioning to my first "real" job scared me. That fear left in a matter of weeks. My team is always willing to help - whether it be work or non-work related questions. I've only been working for roughly 5 months, but I know I've made lifelong friends with my coworkers. So for all you soon-to-be-grads, if you're searching for that true 'family style' culture, Armanino is where you need to work. You won't regret it.

    Cons

    Coffee could be better.

    Advice to Management

    Have more consulting-wide

I have been working at Armanino full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Armanino LLP is truly a great place to work. Through the years I have seen changes that have improved the Firm and its employees a great deal. Armanino is a place where one can learn and grow as well as share resources with their peers to expand their knowledge. Leading by example is a quality that I admire and see from our leaders.

    Cons

    None to speak of

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and thank you for keeping us informed and showing you care. Please continue to stay on track with the "pulse" of the people. Sometimes we have to "draw" feedback, ideas or suggestions out of those who are quiet and often times, those are the ones who have lots to share. Thank you

I worked at Armanino full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people are wonderful and the culture was fun! Good work life balance and great parties! Clients fluctuate and you are not tied down to just one area. If you have the right manager, you are able to have less red-tape but it depends on who you work for and the department.

    Cons

They are growing way too fast and beginning to be just like the rest. All about being not like big 4 and selling out the culture but starting to forget what Armanino is all about. Leadership is home grown and it shows the lack thereof. Many promoted based on who they know and the relationships vs. work ethics or knowledge and experience. In time, they will grow so fast that things will fall through the cracks. Turn over is high for a reason. Mirco management was a major turn off.

    Advice to Management

Get some real leaders and live by the core values. Stop selling out for the $ and remember why Armanino has been so successful.... Start to appreciate the worker bees and value other departments besides Audit. Look at the last wave of "managers" and how they have come up in the ranks with work ethics vs. brown nosing!
