    Pros

Good sense of community. Good place to start out.

    Cons

Slow on decision making, slow to accept and move pass failure, blame-game culture, poor prospects of career progression

    Advice to Management

More positively accept and move pass failure, reduce churning through known issues as this adds to the blame-game culture

    I worked at Arnott's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A really good culture and you are always encouraged to try new things and be open minded about the way things work. Employees at all levels are treated well so there is not a major misalignment between floor staff and management. Targets and performance are well communicated.

    Cons

Although many of senior management on site worked their way up the hierarchy, this progression is not actively sought now and given their past, senior managers are surprisingly not open to progression from the floor or from team leader level to upper management and there can be disgruntled employees from constant external recruitment.

    Advice to Management

Build up internal people from a succession planning point of view and open up projects to people who need help in a certain skill set so they have opportunities to learn.

I have been working at Arnott's (Less than a year)

    Cons

Dealing with some rancid managers at supermarkets who thought they were more than what they actually are.

    I have been working at Arnott's full-time

    Pros

Good leadership and a world leading parent company Campbell soups who own Arnott's have made many changes for this Aussie icon to survive in the dying manufacturing sector, they have great family empathy when need, they help in skilling under skilled workers and have a great OH & S system in place for workers who are in rehab and our own work cover. I have been employed and still current for 29 years, you don't stay tis long in a company if you didn't enjoy the work and benefits.

    Cons

I can't really pin point any downsides, but I would like to see a better system in place when someone accidently breaches, either a safety procedure or a better system in place to entice people not to take sick leave for the hell of it.

    Advice to Management

Fairness to all employees from the top of the tree to the roots in the ground.
