I have been working at Arpac Group full-time

    Pros

I love working here because my coworkers are awesome. Very friendly environment. Good compensation. The Engineering Director Mr. Barry will be your new best friend. He is awesome.

Fairly low stress. Depends on how much work you want to take in.

Very lenient on when to take time off. As long as it's not at the end of a quarter.

    Cons

Somewhat long hours 45hrs avg. (Good if you are paid a wage). End of quarter is insane because there is a mad rush to ship machines ("Ship it Baby!!!").

No 401K match (You are better off just setting up your own Roth IRA at home. Only use the 401K program if you are bad at investing which is probably most people)

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing.

I have been working at Arpac Group full-time

    Pros

Great place to work! Transparent organization! they hold quarterly communications meetings to share information and recognize outstanding achievements by employees. Extremely dynamic and fast pace for people who want to be apart of something that is growing and innovative. The culture is one that you can speak your mind, in a professional atmosphere, without being a attacked for having an opinion.

    Cons

fast paced company that expects the individual to hold themselves accountability. Not for the large company, "hide away" minded person!

    Cons

Very segregated - Workers are almost 100% 1st generation immigrants, management is almost 100% not.
No moving up the ranks within the company.
Over time you'll be payed less and less with the inflation. You'll have to fight to essentially be paid the same as when you got here.
Engineering department is poor at best. Another reason workers are unhappy - they have
Atmosphere on the shop floor is bad. Most shop people are recent immigrants, very capable and hard working man but with poor english. It's hard to go look for another job.
Too many managers = large overhead = less profit = less competitive pricing
