      Pros

Flexible schedule Work life balance Line managers are great and care Arrow’s Pros are sometimes overlooked by employees. They do a lot to provide flexibility and to make your work life balance actually balanced. They have a great facility at HQ and keep it up. Lots of on-site amenities. I haven’t seen any clock watching or institutional micromanagement.

      Cons

No career advancement Pay lags significantly behind market for most positions Endless layoffs There are a lot of cons to Arrow. Over the last two months Arrow has been losing good people to competitors or other firms at a high rate, and the executives could care less. Only token efforts to improve morale. There is also a complete disregard for career path. Management tries to pass off intern hires and lateral moves as promotions to hide the truth - which is there are no promotions. No raises in the last 2 years. Tools and processes are 20 years behind. No formal training for a lot of positions. Forcing employees into the office during the pandemic, hiding the true number of COVID cases on site. Layoffs are an answer for everything. Pay is not competitive with other technology companies. No strategy to grow at all other then to cut as many costs as possible.

Work here if you are desperate

      Pros

They have a very nice gym

      Cons

The model at Arrow ECS(IT) is to employ as many workers who are tied to their Visas as possible. You follow this approach to keep people in line. If you miss a Project date, you are in jeopardy of getting terminated and being sent back to your home country. In the years that I was there, I witnessed on 2 occasions where EMT's were called in, for individuals who were sick and should have stayed home. They came to work sick because they had project dates to keep. Also, they offer unlimited PTO, but you're always to busy to take any Vacation. The real reason for the unlimited PTO, is that Arrow doesn't have to pay you Vacation days when you leave or get laid off. Other points of contention... - Middle Management will dump all over their Employees so they can get ahead. If Middle Management does not follow this model, Upper Management will replace them. - Executives treat you like another number. They'll look at you like you're not even there. These Executive inspire no one. - The HR Department will do whatever Management tells them. I've seen an Employee speak out in an open forum, only to be ostracized and driven out of their position. HR did nothing to help this Employee. - There is no work/life balance but there is a lot of job stress. - There is a current push to move jobs to India and Mexico. They'll do anything to save a buck. - Constant threat of layoffs. - No formal training. Their idea of Training is to do a google search or pay for your own Certifications. If you're desperate for a job, take a position at Arrow ECS. If you have choices, do not choose Arrow ECS.

      Pros

Get to work a hybrid of remote and in office. Open work space and free lunch.

      Cons

Very siloed environment. Some of the team members are very condescending towards one another. Culture and Work Life Balance need some work.

      Pros

Work/life balance, no micromanagement and good perks. President's club is pretty amazing and it is not difficult to win if you do your job.

      Cons

Doesn't pay to market and VERY slow moving on everything. Especially when it comes to comp and promotions. They often try to pass lateral moves as promotions with only a 5-7% bump.

Good Learning Experience Beware of Layoffs and Changing Goals

      Pros

Salary, Work-Life balance, subsidized cafeteria, nice big gyms both buildings. Very nice and friendly coworkers. Not too high pressure. Good place to go to learn the distributor model and get overall experience on many different products.

      Cons

There have been many layoffs during the 10 years I have been with the company. Leadership is a revolving door and as a result goals are constantly changing even mid-year. If your compensation is partly dependent upon achieving goals keep that in mind, suggest budgeting based on the fixed part of your pay to avoid problems. Lots of office politics. If your job can be off-shored it probably will be.

Toxic Top Leadership but Amazing Middle Management

      Pros

Learning opportunities Supportive direct supervisors Work-life balance Great peers Wide variety of offered benefits

      Cons

The majority of the C-Suite Leadership are toxic and manipulative. They only care about their own beliefs and couldn't care less about the wellbeing of the majority of their population despite the messages they send out that claim otherwise. Low pay Handling of the pandemic

      Pros

Solid company to work for. The people is what makes Arrow a good place to work and get business done. Processes and systems are strong enabling ease in doing the work. Work life balance - very good.

      Cons

Unlimited PTO is an interesting benefit. Get your work done and you are welcome to take off. As you can imagine, there is always work to do, so hard to take advantage of the benefit.
