Great product, workable business plan, great customers, good salary. This company has the potential to be one of the top employers in the GTA. However;.........
Useless staff, Extremely inadequate training, less than superior management in place. Its really hard to learn from and respect people higher up in the chain of command, when if given an opportunity, taking over their position wouldn't be much of a challenge.
Advice to Management
Devise a training plan and don't assume that the person being replaced, be the best person to execute the training. Because once that person has been replaced, their methods will likely not be the most effective for your new employee. Most of all, allow room for potential employees and new hire's to be themselves, not everyone is exactly like you, or has any interest in being like you. Maybe you're really not as awesome as you think. That's what's so great about being human. You'll never make a good employee better by making them be something that they are not. Hence why, people quit without notice. It's a (self) respect thing, it's not personal, lol.
