I worked at Arsenal Football Club part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good pay (£9.80) Meeting loads of new people Nice working environment Free uniform, including trainers It can be fun to work.. at times

    Cons

Favouritism!!! If the people who do the shifts do not like you, you will not be getting any shifts. No matter what you do. Whilst they nag people they don't like about talking, they allow people who have worked there for a long time or those they like to sit around and talk. Oh and they also get longer breaks too. Some managers are very rude, and need to be spoken to by management properly.

    Advice to Management

Don't favourite. Treat all staff the same Follow the rules that you give.

I have been working at Arsenal Football Club part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Flexible working hours, can be fun at times, customer interaction is good, big team so lots of people to work with, sense of pride working for the club especially as a fan

    Cons

Working during the match as a fan of the team is tough and the game isn't shown in the store, midweek matches can have late hours

    Advice to Management

There's too much favouritism going on when giving out shifts. Reward people who work hard and not those who get overly friendly.

I worked at Arsenal Football Club

    Pros

Get to meet some very talented people and were not just talking about the players. Good environment, money is always an issue but then No Problem if they want to spend £100 million +Plus on a new player.....just does not make business senses but this is sports entrainment I guess!

    Cons

Offered me a very low salary just due to the fact they are a Big club.

    Advice to Management

Need to listen when someone with years of experience tell's you something and not start a HR discipline.

I worked at Arsenal Football Club

    Pros

Excellent staff and a very enjoyable and relaxed working environment. Also the pay is great especially for a retail job.

    Cons

It is a 0 hours contract and staff are given shifts dependent on who gets on best with the managers rather than job performance.

    Advice to Management

Wonderful management staff but should rate people more on the job they do rather than giving people special treatment just because they like them.
