    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Arthur Andersen full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The brightest and most creative group of senior tax professionals in any single practice ever. A culture and a set of guiding principles underpinned by integrity and a commitment to client service.

    Cons

The firm let a fixation on pyramid and statistics driven by a megalomaniac from Houston that was brought to New York that inflicted a cancer on the firm that took it from its roots.......when $$ overtook client service commitments over the long term the firm suffered....Arthur Andersen was MURDERED by the same Dept. of Justice that brought us waterboarding. When Andersen refused to rollover on Enron, its fate was sealed. Notably, SCOTUS overturned the verdict based upon a defective "Allen charge" to the jury. Unfortunately, there is no remedy for "wrongful execution"

    Advice to Management

    Too late damage is done.
