    Pros

Arvato overall work environment is helpful, friendly and professional. The corporation works hard to hear our voices and responds to our suggestions.

    Cons

There are very few downsides to working at this location. The teamwork is awesome and the employees are wonderful and caring.

    Pros

Very flexible work environment as far as schedule, and did not have to worry about the quarterly craziness when involved in contract processing.

I have been working at Arvato Digital Services full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Free lunch for good performance, fun work environment, excellent co-workers, good benefits, advancement opportunities.

    Cons

benefits can get a little pricey if you're covering more than yourself, starting pay is a little low, shift bids is how they do their scheduling. You don't know what your schedule is going to be when you're hired and then it changes every couple months.

I have been working at Arvato Digital Services full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great work hours as long as you have good performance. Very welcoming work environment for the most part. It's a good first job experience.

    Cons

There's a lot of favoritism, basically have to suck up to management if you plan on moving to higher position. Some supervisors are nice others I'm not so sure of. There's a lot of work place drama. Not a very professional place. Lunches should be longer than 30 mins. Quality Team needs to be in agreement because one coach won't knock of points for not doing and/or doing something then another coach will knock you off for the same thing. Supervisors don't meet with their representatives monthly to go over performance so you never know where you are & what you need to improve on.

I worked at Arvato Digital Services full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Working with Arvato, you get a lot of experience with Microsofts contracts and processing of those contracts. It's a nifty bit of information to have.

    Cons

The work environment is a lot like a prison. There are scheduled breaks for each team. You can only leave your desk for restroom breaks but the length and amount are monitored on those. You have to document what you worked on at all times during the day. If you are sick and you call out, you can get disciplined even with a doctor's note. 8 hour work days are not the norm for most teams. At the beginning of the month it's closer to 5-6 hours and the last part of the month can be upwards of 18+. They don't take into consideration if you got there at 6 am or 8 am, so everyone usually leave say the same time and is expected to be back at their start times. There is no flexibility when you have kids and are forced to work overtime. They will refuse to allow you to leave to pick up kids in a lot of situations. While I was there, I saw countless people carted off in an ambulance because of the stress and work schedule. They also pay crappy. They hire a lot of temps so that they can cut them easily when it gets slow so the costs of on-boarding eats the budget leaving little for the people who stay. Definitely not a pay equal to the demands made.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Arvato Digital Services full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You at least have a job that pays a little more than minimum wage. The benefits are decent albeit expensive.

    Cons

The Management and Supervisory team slander, discriminate against, and disrespect associates. This is a very unprofessional work environment were extreme harassment goes unaddressed. The only way to get a promotion is to politic, your resume and job performance do not matter in the least. Management frequently lies to employees as an easy way out. Supervisor’s lack of skill and integrity definitely shows in the way they manage a team. Frequently this aspect is filled with politics as well. Associates who are considered “buddies” are not addressed for negative behaviors such as extremely poor attendance, rude customer interaction, low productivity, poor attitude towards co-workers etc… However, employees who do not suck up are often fired for the smallest of offenses that should only warrant a write up, employees are definitely pushed out the door here. The pay is relatively low for the stressful, unrewarding culture you are subjected to.

I worked at Arvato Digital Services full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There were not too many positive things about working at Arvato, if you work in the call center expect back to back calls the entire day. Not a whole lot of time breathe, plus you have to create a ticket for each customer you talk to. They do make sure that you take your 2 10 minute breaks, but if you have to use the restroom outside of your break time it might not be that easy. The only pros I can think of is that it is a big company that you possibly move up in, they offer good health insurance, and the area is nice with restaurants close by.

    Cons

Management doesn't give you time to breathe, they are always watching you and even listening in on your calls with customers. The work environment it far from relaxed, they make sure everyone is working as hard as they can for the low hourly pay.
