I worked at Arvest Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great for multitaskers and those who like working in a fast paced environment. Good pay and benefits. Bank holidays off!

    Cons

They are very strict in the contact center and you have to keep wrap time low, compliance percentage high, and there are other stats you have to keep up with. Plus, customers in the banking industry can be mean. This job is not for the light hearted.

I have been working at Arvest Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    1. The managers of the contact center are amazing. They really do care about the employees. 2. The building is nice. 3. We have food days a lot. 4. The atmosphere is great. 5. Coworkers are all nice people. 6. We get two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch. 7. The benefits are awesome. Cheap health insurance (but it’s a good health plan) and we get 3 weeks of PTO. 8. After 4 months you get a raise from 11.50/hr to 12/hr and after a year you get a raise as well. 9. Lots of Opportunities to move up in the company and switch departments.

    Cons

    1. The extremely high call volume. We are constantly taking back to back calls all day and the customers want things from us that we have no ability to do. 2. It’s also by Owasso so if you live in mid or south Tulsa, it’ll be a commute of at least 15 minutes. 3. The attendances policy is not great. 4. For the amount of calls we take we should have at least one more break, even if it’s only 10 minutes. 5. They won’t budge on the starting pay. It’s 11.50/hr for the first four months or nothing.

I worked at Arvest Bank full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The job itself was rather easy, taking calls, answering emails, cubicle life to the max. The benefits were very generous and the starting pay was a handsome amount. Its near criminal how much white collars make for doing much of nothing.

    Cons

This isn't really a con its just well; the Office isn't meant for everyone. You have to worry about offending your coworkers (mainly supos and brownnosers) and typical office politicking. Honestly, they just don't let you be well, you. They mayr as well replace CSR's with an automated telephone system at this rate..
