    Pros

    Tremendous job security and great support from the superiors.
    Good atmosphere to learn.
    Good scope of opportunities
    Great HR and leave polices

    Cons

    Erratic working hours
    No fixed schedule or timelines for the project are adhered to.
    The growth for an employee is slow.

    Advice to Management

    Give opportunity to new youngsters and do away with the hierarchy present in the setup.
    Make safety and hygiene a compulsion at your facilities

    I worked at Arvind Mills full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    1. Good Work-Life Balance
    2. No Work stress
    3. One-third of the days in an year are company paid holidays.
    4. This is a good workplace if you are not ambitious, if you are a Typical Lazy Gujju, if you are 40 plus years of age & don't want much stress, if you just want to pass your last few years before retirement, if you want excellent work-life balance.

    Cons

    1. Salaries well below industry average
    2. SINGLE Digit Increments year after year; often less than annual inflation rate in India
    3. More than 90% of the employees (including managerial levels) are unskilled.
    4. Company is full of Lazy Typical Gujjus.
    5. 'Chalta hai to chalne do' attitude
    6. Good performances or ideas are often ignored.
    7. No personal or professional growth of employees.
    8. Company does not invest in employees at all.
    9. No transportation facilities for employees.
    10. No proper induction to new joinees.
    11. No Transparency. Management often keeps the lower employees in dark.
    12. Incompetent, insignificant & lazy HR
    13. Hiring is done randomly across all levels & also, roles are given randomly.
    14. High Attrition rate. No one sticks around for more than 1-2 years unless he is a Local guy.
    15. Company can become a career spoiler for ambitious, talented youngsters.

    Advice to Management

    1. Invest in employees.
    2. Train your employees across levels, improve their skilsets.
    3. Provide growth opportunities or at least a good career path to employees.

    Yet to figure out................... Will defiantly update, if I find one.

    2. No KRAs
    3. Full of lazy idiots, who are just waiting for their retirement
    4. Hell lot of politics
    5. Typical government like babu culture

    Need to retrench 50% manpower, at least, based on the performance assessment.

    very good environment to work .all workers are very friendly.no restriction if you want to learn something.everyone almost cooperate

    Cons

    some machines are not in best state.seniors can be rude,no vacations.machines always run ,minimal maintainance

    - A lot to learn and grow
    - Different kinds of departments are there, from Denims to knits to fire-repellent fabric manufacturing units!
    -Also, there's no bond

    Cons

    -1). The company provides really low salary.
    - 2). The salary appraisal system is also quite slow in the company.

    Advice to Management

    Please increase the pay to the various roles, especially for engineering graduates.
    Do visit every textile college a year for recruitment, since they are very few in number

    Good brand value in industry, great exposure in product development, quality assurance profiles

    Cons

    Slow growth, especially for freshers and less experienced professionals.. Should join for Sales and Marketing only in Denim division..

    Advice to Management

    Should revise salary structure for freshers, headcount needs to be sorted out.. In some departments, more people recruited than required and vice versa..
