    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Ascend Learning full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

you learn a lot about academic publishing you are given a lot of responsibility really great time off and hours

    Cons

no clear promotion structure or metrics no professional development discouraging/antagonistic management compensation is below market

    Advice to Management

They need to start acting like they care about the employees and value their work before they lose their entire talent pool. In my time there, my entire department turned over to new staff in two years. People have been known to walk out and not come back.
