Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI worked at Ascendance for less than a year
Pros
A lot of hours, you do meet genuine people but they never last. Only cocky people that are full of it and are fake last in this "company"
Cons
Huge turnover, a lot of lying, owners from other offices do drugs with employees when they visit, they care about one thing and one thing only MONEY. Never met so many fake people in my life it's disgusting

Positive OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Ascendance full-time for less than a year
Pros
I worked there for a full week. It is not a legit company. Don't even apply. The only pro is that you may catch a baseball game for free.
Cons
Very shady. Bad people taking advantage of honest people. Incredibly low salary. Better said, no salary! 100% commission based and even if you sell a lot of door to door BS, you will have to pay taxes on your own. No benefits, no insurance, nothing. Worst job ever. You'd be better with all due respect at McDonalds.

"Don't waste your time. Total pyramid scheme."

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Ascendance full-time for less than a year
Pros
The 'pros' are very very minimal, if any. You're required to show up 2 hours early to go over business strategies. They'll 'teach' you how to not take 'no' for an answer. Basically you'll be taught how to dupe people in to buying your (usually) unnecessary product.
Cons
Work countless hours (usually 10-12 a day, M-F including first few Saturdays) and are not guaranteed any form of compensation. You're essentially going to be scalping ticket packages. Also, the employee turnover rate is ridiculously high, so you'll more than likely be hired after first interview. Complete pyramid scheme, all the ticket packages you sale only result in more money going into the wallets of the higher-ups.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Ascendance full-time
Pros
This is a scheme that feeds on young and inexperienced college graduates, people that have problems finding real jobs and just plainly desperate people that need an income. The morning sessions are brainwashing rituals, where canned and cliché "business tips" are "discussed".
Cons
Dishonesty is their cue word. This is modern slavery and I'm sad to see people that had worked here for more than two weeks; I can't imagine people that have worked here for a year! No benefits, ridiculously low income, long hours, false promise after false promise. Classic pyramidal scheme.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Ascendance for less than a year
Pros
Really the only pro to this job was the other people that worked there. It had a bunch of great, sports-minded people.
Cons
It's all cold calling, it's all commission based, they represent small time businesses with products not many people want to buy so it's very common to work a 10 hour day and only make $30

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Ascendance
Pros
Easy to interview. Seemed casual. Has something to do with sports.
Cons
Super-shady place. Forgot that they invited me back for a shadowing day, which they apparently do instead of interviewing. I left in a car of 3 entry-level employees, that I didn't know, and wasn't told where we were going. Then, I find out it's door to door sales, even though the job posting specifically said it wasn't. Also, you don't get paid for this "shadowing". Lastly, I asked the employee to take me back to the office because this wasn't for me and he told me he would only do so if I gave him gas money. Super-shady place.
