    Pros

    specialty dept attracts and creates more empathic people, so the workers do anything for the patients--it's a beautiful thing. Community Care for patients and employees is a life-saver, literally. Daily reflection at meetings is uplifting, but please keep god out of it.

    Cons

    does not matter how many years (9) i have been there, or how remarkable my patient care is, i will never get ahead, even with a degree, because there is no room for advancement. Perhaps it's just healthcare in general, but management somehow cannot see or worse, fails to recognize excellence in service unless you have a clinical background. Pay increases are so low cannot keep up with inflation ($0.20-$0.30). no bonuses. Also, i know it's catholic based, but the quotes on the walls and the prayers at meetings could be offensive, especially in healthcare setting where someone is deathly ill. Think about the diverse populations in Milwaukee and choose more appropriate quotes. 2019 JOB TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS HAVE BEEN CHANGED in an effort to a) reduce staff (example: in hospital setting making the HUC role disappear was a means to make employees redundant). Titles were condensed so they can lump everyone's talent into one role and one pay.
