I have been working at Ashford University full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working at Ashford University provided a great learning experience of the in's and out's of the business world, and how business is conducted in a university setting.

    Cons

One con of working as a mentor at Ashford University was that one could easily become overwhelm with a high workload.

    Advice to Management

Management at Ashford University could offer the position of student mentor to more students to reduce the high workload of a selected number of students who work the program for the university.

I have been working at Ashford University full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent training, amazing managers and plenty of room to grow. You get all holidays off and management works with you to help you grow. My school is also 100% paid for and i really can't complain about that. You never bring your work home with you and i come to work with a smile on my face.

    Cons

I wish that there was more frequent raises. Financial Services is seen as the red headed step child of the company but there is so much to financial advising that i don't think people realize. A pay raise every so often would be great.

    Advice to Management

I love our management team I wouldn't change anything.

    Pros

Great support staff, excellent supervisors. The students were motivated and inspiring to work with.

    Cons

When the University was restructured, the TA position was eliminated. Other than that -- nothing.

    Advice to Management

Keep moving towards the future. Changes hurt, but are necessary.

    Pros

Developing one's overall cultural workforce ethic takes deep intrinsic study habit disciplines, and Forbes School of Business has a dedicated staff of doctors, professors and advisors that successfully illustrates these necessities to better business sense.

    Cons

Speaking of my personal ascertainments concerning diligence, one must be focused on what it is that their are trying to accomplish and succinct in their efforts to really create an effective discipline of requirements the hierarchical forces of Forbes School of Business "or" any other rigorous university program will require.

    Advice to Management

Having the opportunity to be apart of the Forbes School of Business has taught me the true meaning of "concentrated common sense," and the management has been very disciplined, well mannered, and professional concerning the ups and downs of this work-study academic peradventure. All I can say is, " Very well done Ashford, and keep up the good work!"
