I have been working at Ashton Woods Homes full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Ever growing company Friendly co-workers Caring and silly management Everyone really cares about what they do Everyone helps eachother

    Cons

The only thing that I can think of is the growing pains that we are experiencing right now. We're a little understaffed at the moment due to us growing so rapidly. Some people are now being pulled in a few different directions, but that is really a positive thing because everything is on the upswing. It's just a little tough in the interim.

I have been working at Ashton Woods Homes full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

Ashton Woods has a great culture that encourages creativity and autonomy, combined with a great support system from peers and managers. We are growing very rapidly, so I see a lot of opportunity to move up within the company.

    Cons

Like all important careers, you have to work hard to be successful, but at least the managers here recognize it.

I worked at Ashton Woods Homes

    Pros

Good product with varying locations. Designs were unique and had a good quality to them. Great Canadian company that derived the United States Based Ashton Woods.

    Cons

Local Management lacked professionalism, maturity and depth in their decisions. Used positions to create personal objectives.

    Advice to Management

Make quality decisions based on facts no on one story you hear from your favored employees.

I worked at Ashton Woods Homes

    Pros

Small Company - I see that as an opportunity for professional growth. Great open door policy with management. People are okay. Great product to stand behind.

    Cons

Still in the stone age with their current OS. Need to find a way to minimize the amount of mistakes made in sales and design center. Weak industry to work in considering housing bubble. Benefits are not very good. No promotional opportunities or cross departamental opportunites. You do what you do and thats it.

    Advice to Management

Stop beating up your sales team. It is downright unprofessional.
