I have been working at Asia Pulp & Paper full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The only thing I can think of that would be a pro, is that it is full time employment.

    Cons

Brutal, brutal management. You need to be family or incompetent...seriously. This company could own the Canadian market ,but with poor decisions and horrible management and dismissals out the ying/yang (people get this that work ) it does nothing for moral.

    Advice to Management

Replace yourself with people in the know

    Pros

The people I work with every day. Other than that, there are no pros and I wish someone would have told me to not start working here.

    Cons

They do not care about employees, higher management does not know how to do business in the US, they aren't accepting any advice from people who have worked with the American market, they are closing the Atlanta branch, reasonable severance is ONE more paycheck.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people you hire. Change upper management. Start caring about the people you hire.

I have been working at Asia Pulp & Paper full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent compensation package/salary for people starting.
    Very Flexible on Schedule.
Disorganized structure allows candidate have access to some very important functions(Gain critical experiences that will not be available to you when you join a company with regular structure).

    Cons

Merged by different holding companies, no HR department , uses agency to hire new employees, many concerns cannot be addressed properly. If you a self starter you will be fine, if you are not, don't join this company. You will get very little help on training, and many time sensitive tasks requires decent amount of training before you can successfully complete them. You will be penalized if they aren't complete on time and no training will not be an excuse.

Career path is not defined, but if you are capable you can create your own path.

    Advice to Management

It is hard to management when there are multiple bosses who holds different ideas above management.
