    Pros

There are big chance to learn jobs around the company due to lack of labor force .

    Pros

I couldn't find good things here. sorry.

    Cons

Job stress is really high. (even though low salary;Salary starting is under $30,000.)
And the biggest problem is lack of manpower.

    Advice to Management

Almost manager's job ability is very low and sometimes they have no manners. Their job style is too much Korean style.

Easy work. Some Flexibility. Nothing more.

    Cons

Low pay, Korean culture, Pressure on revenue on and on

    Advice to Management

Branch manager should be localized, because they don't know anything but act like they know everything.

I worked at Asiana Airlines full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Only discounted flight tickets if you travel with asiana airlines. They are saying we can use also star alliance flights for discount, but it seems very very difficult to take that advantage as we are always on standby and sometimes the price is expensive than website. Plus, there is no time to travel unless you work there more than 3-5 years. You have to work all weekends and holidays. The other reason is that managers take their advantages to have more fixed schedules than other young employees.

    Cons

My young colleagues are nice and good to work together. There is A HUGE problem with managers. Managers are expecting from young employees to show how much they are respecting their managers. Not enough lunch hours (less then 20mins). Physically very tired as you don't have any break time during working hours(8hrs). Managers are watching you all times and never ever let you have a break-time. If you go restroom for 10mins, they will start calling you. Managers they make their own rule and world at work, so that all young employees must follow their rules. The managers treat good if they like the employees, but if they don't, then they are treating you very differently. It is a small world of 1970-80's Korea in America.

    Advice to Management

There are always enough reasons why people quit the job very often in asiana airlines.

I have been working at Asiana Airlines full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Cheap Airlines tickets (stand-by tickets)
Reasonable health insurance (includes dental and eyes)
    Nice people to work with
    Good location near downtown

    Cons

    Overwhelmed workload
(They do not hire to save expenses)
    Super low salaries
    A dollar raise
    No bonus
Managers do not let you use your sickdays freely
    Korean style management
Harsh on your small work mistake

    Advice to Management

I would give a zero star if they have the option.

We're not machines!! PLEASE hire more employees!

Management! Communicate with each of the employees, hear from them first before they quit!

I worked at Asiana Airlines full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Easy work and your resume will look good however its the same thing over and over with more rules and regulations all the time.

    Cons

Bad hours delays, low pay no promotions and home staff are always first USA staff are nothing. Work load is always increased plus responsibilities are high with no chance to ever move forward. If you want a future steer clear from Asiana Airlines.

    Advice to Management

If you want employees to stay don't be selfish take care of them and give them a chance to excel with some benefits. I was there 4 years and 14 people quit with because of all the crap at SFO.

I worked at Asiana Airlines full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Since you're outside the US, your salary is tax free. Medical visits to a doctor are much cheaper then in the US, but the doctors have a different style .

    Cons

The Asiana Check-Airmen are terrible instructors and pilots. While they are doing a check ride, they will falsely make up an error, if they can't find one. It's total BS, but how do you argue with a Korean, who can't understand Engrishy . Management isn't any better. They are so obsessed with "data", and will criticize , or discipline you for being one knot over the limit. (Vmo, Vfe....) Even if it's not your fault. From there, they will inspect the aircraft for damage......for being One Knot over. Really ! They're not gonna find any damage, but they look anyways.
Seoul is a dirty town, and the streets smell like sewer, since their drains dump directly under the street. The Asiana contract is just about the worst contract in Asia. It's not commutable. "Travel home" is not guaranteed, and it is planned 13 days off every other month. This means 9 to 10 days at home, before you need to fly back to Korea. So, you might not be able to travel home until 4 months have passed. Career Opportunities are ZERO !! Work / life balance is very poor.
Discrimination runs rapent within the company. If you're not Korean, you're crap.
