    Pros

Salary and benefits are good and equal to the market. People are being rewarded for their loyalty and time with the company even for new people who just joined the company. We had the best all company meeting this year since I have been with the company. Strong leaders for in the company and they care about their employees. I like the President, AspireHR is growing and he talks to everyone to get to know them. I don't know about the other reviewer but we do have an HR manager who helped me in the past.

    Cons

Continue to improve and expand benefits like you did this year.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great family culture and I like the strong leadership. It is great and fun place to work.

I have been working at AspireHR full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

My salary is comparable and the benefits aren't bad. And, I work with a lot of great consultants.

    Cons

You don't really know who is running the place. There are many partners and VP's, but no one is aware or seem to care that the consultants are overworked. There isn't a single employee in an administrative or support role and there is no HR department. So, if there is any sort of problem, you are out of luck.

    Advice to Management

I would much rather feel supported in my role than having fun. Perhaps a little less emphasis on drinking and fun and a little more attention to your consultants' workloads.

    Pros

It does not feel like a traditional bureaucratic company, it has a great atmosphere, lots of experts, great future.

The new president is improving the image of the company a lot.

    Cons

Some of the benefits is a bit on the expensive side, but it may be the size of the company

    Advice to Management

    Need to grow steadily

    Pros

A great small company with a flexible work environment and family feel and culture. The recent addition of a new president is outstanding. He is very dynamic, strategic, customer centric and cares about the employees and customers. He is very enthusiastic and will take this company to a whole new level

    Cons

AspireHR is one the best kept secrets in the industry

    Advice to Management

Kudos on the new president. He actually knows my name and congratulated me on my work anniversary! wow..

I have been working at AspireHR full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great flexible work environment, smart people to work with, hands off management style.

    Cons

Work-life balance is nearly non existent and expectations can range from high to unrealistic. The metrics used to measure performance aren't always great. Leadership is weak outside of general company direction.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so insular and exclusive, pay attention to the resources you have, and be more forthcoming with praise.

    Pros

Great People within the company. Always delivered for clients, which isn't true for other places I worked

    Cons

Lots of travel, but suppose that is the life of a consultant

    Advice to Management

Keep on fighting "to do projects the right way"

I worked at AspireHR full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fun place to work and they always keep you busy.
Great tools and support to help you and your team be sucessful on a project.
Leadership doesn't just sell the services, they know it from years of working in the trenches
The CEO is the smartest guy in the business and one of the youngest. Plus, he has personal relationships with each one of the employees and always has their back.
Great mix of people with good hearts and lots of personalities.
Pay is decent considering the economy is no good.

    Cons

Feel like a fraternity. That would be great, but I am no longer single nor have any desire to get drunk and tell stories the next day.
Dallas is a clique. If you don't live there, you don't get anywhere in the company.
One of the main Partners in the company feels travel is an inconvenience to his family life, yet has no problems pushing others to travel and do his dirty work.

    Advice to Management

Time to mature a bit and hire someone over 50 with talent and big-time experience.
Get rid of the high-maintenance consultants who cry over traveling.
Keep doing what you are doing with the clients. It works!
