    Pros

My trainer was blunt that I had to learn my training manual and get very comfortable knowing how to educate business owners on the products we market. I did this and still continue to get very consistent results in sales. I've also seen co-workers not know the materials and not do well in sales.

    Cons

Sometimes employees blame management for their lack of sales and commissions, but in reality I can tell which ones do well and which ones do not. Sometimes it brings down the mood of the office when these employees complain. I've seen first hand the management team trying to work with these people, and these people still don't realize that they cannot just try to do their own thing when talking to business owners.

    Advice to Management

I understand you are trying to coach people through the sales process and you give them time to learn, but after you coach they look like they understand, but then they go right back to their old ways which do not work. I think you should terminate these types of employees sooner than later.

    Pros

CEO seems to genuinely care about his employees and team Some employees seem to do well although I have no idea how

    Cons

There were multiple times in my day to day that I had to actually ask myself whether what I was doing was a joke or not They claim to pay $300 (around there) for your week of training but realistically you get $300 after 3 weeks “Business trips” are a regular occurrence but chances are you will have to share a bed with your coworkers ( not joking ) and not a dime of the trip will be paid for They like to constantly...

    Pros

Management was friendly and listened to your concerns. Team nights were fun. Possibility of meeting really cool people in the field.

    Cons

The job is really not for anyone that doesn’t have the stereotypical “car salesman” personality. I could pitch and pitch all day during morning “warm ups”, but getting to the field was totally different. No amount of training fully prepares you for the very angry business owners that you are bound to meet during a day. I unfortunately did not have the care free personality to get me through the 60+ businesses they expect...

    Advice to Management

With high turn over, there isn’t always a lot of care in hiring people. Spend more time with the interviewing process to fully understand the personality of the candidate to see if they would be a good fit for the position. Just because you like someone and want to be their friend doesn’t mean they’ll work well with B2B sales. Help those who are struggling more. It is discouraging when training and your team lead doesn’t...

I have been working at Aspromonte Marketing part-time

    Pros

The Aspromonte team is incredibly open, energetic, and kind. The President of the company is a very down to earth guy who is always out there to help his employees. He is open to giving people a chance and works hard for his business.

    Cons

The only cons are the lack of guaranteed pay. If you are willing to put in the time and effort, you can definitely make money (and a very decent amount of it). However, if it is stable guaranteed income and benefits that you are looking for than this is not the industry for you.

    Advice to Management

Keep on keeping on! The President and HR Manager (who constitute the management team) are genuinely good people and I am proud to call them my friends.

    Pros

This company has been great to work for. Very positive/fun environment and the management team is very open and understanding. Entry-level, promote from within company, so everyone is on the same level and there is no seniority. Overall the skills and experience gained is invaluable.

    Cons

none, anyone can be successful at this company if they are willing to put forth the effort.

    Pros

There was one or two cool people I used to work with there...but they quit too, mysteriously and quietly because no one should know when AMC loses people...it's not good for morale.

    Cons

Seriously, just stop what you're doing and ignore this company. Top to bottom, there is no point. I have read reviews that were, quite literally, spot on. Best of which describes only making $50 a sale. Which was actually a bit more then I remember. But nevertheless, the response from AMC was we pay more. No they don't. It's been the better part of 2 years since I spent the worst month of my professional existence there....

    Advice to Management

Stop lying to people. Lay the cards on the table. Hey this is business to business sales. We are part of a multi-level marketing company, which when drawn out looks a lot like a pyramid. You really only have a commission option, but our lawyers said, "hey give them a way to get a weekly salary, just in case, you never have to make it work out in their favor." Long hours and a lot of walking are in your future here, but...

Tight-knit team atmosphere that encourages employees to grow within the company. After work activities once a week give employees a chance to bond with their peers. As you advance you learn about how to run the company from the CEO's perspective so you can open your own office with you own team.

    Cons

I've haven't had a bad experience with this company. My job has been a great fit for me I really enjoyed working at this company.
