    Policies aren't up to par.

    Advice to Management

Need frequent branch management evaluation and collective employee analysis of each branch.

I worked at Asset Campus Housing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Being on site allows things to be somewhat laidback, especially dealing with college students. There's a lot of opportunity for growth if you chose to utilize it and have the right connections

    Cons

A lot of changes with management during my time there (my property manager and four maintenance staff were all fired within my year there). Upper Management isn't there to deal with daily functions which causes a dissonance and lack of communication between levels. They don't properly equip staff with training and it leads some people to failure, especially if they've never worked in student housing before. I wasn't able to receive any annual evaluation on my performance which would have helped me see what I needed improvement on.

    Advice to Management

Have training for more than just property managers, annual evaluations, making staff feel more appreciated and upper level management should have less projects so they can be more in touch with day to day operations.

    Pros

ACH works hard to keep communication flowing from site to corporate. They make you feel valued. You feel as though you are part of a family with ACH.

    Cons

Training can be difficult to get. Regional Marketing Directors, while a good thought, usually come to site and hang out or try to gossip.

I worked at Asset Campus Housing part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Rent discount and commission (but was never given the commission)

    Cons

Could have been one of the best jobs, but management was awful. Had to contact the Senior VP of corporate to come down from headquarters and investigate some issues. Only stayed for 6 months - made over $1,000 in commission but was never given any of it.

    Pros

Ca's were awesome, The location and site was beautiful.

    Cons

The management sets you up for failure. You have two systems to add all of your residents in then also multiple spreadsheets to add same detailed information. They have no idea how inefficient they are, then daily emergency emails to get them information. STRESSFUL doesn't begin to explain it there. Micromanaging every move you make.

    Advice to Management

IF you are hiring managers, let them manage. Stop with the 7 different ways to input the same information. Use one system, if it doesn't give you the results or reports you need hire someone to program it too. Streamline the process by making less reports and let your workers work on the job you hired them to do.

    Pros

great company to work for very encouraging and have good training and management conferences that really refresh you and are awesome opportunities to create new relationships and network

    Cons

do not like my regional he is very out of pocket which I prefer since when he is involved it seems as though he really does not want to be there, ends up finding a way to blame everything on manager instead of taking responsibility for not being a accessible supervisor

    Advice to Management

be ready to babysit 18-25 year olds that literally need everything handed to them

    Pros

Worked at the complex I lived at. Worked around school schedule. Had potential to be a fun a job

    Cons

Bad pay. Bad management. Always tried to scam you out of money. Acted like they cared about you until you have to leave the company

    Advice to Management

Hire people with college degrees and make sure you are listening to your community. Slot of complaints and nothing was ever done
