    Pros

I don't really have any good things to say sadly enough.

    Cons

Not the greatest communication with upper management, shows favoritism, and doesn't have any training techniques in place to assure that new hires will succeed.

I worked at Asset Campus Housing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1) Interaction with residents
    2) Promote from within (honestly probably because they are too lazy to do the hiring process)

    Cons

    1) Upper Management is disorganized and shady
    2) Will promote almost anyone simply to fill the void regardless of qualifications
    3) Working even when not on the clock
    4) No proper training

I worked at Asset Campus Housing part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I worked at one of the properties managed by Asset Campus Housing and corporate is very hands on, which was nice. They make biweekly appearances at all their properties and are very helpful in answering questions about policy and procedures.
They are great about transferring employees to different locations if you are considering a move, and allow employees to live on site.
There is a lot of room for growth and promotions occur relatively often.

The best part of my job was the people I worked with. We turned into a little office family and it was the best job I could have asked for.

    Cons

At my property, not sure if it is the same at all of them, they adopted the "sink or swim" method. They basically throw you in without any training, which I don't mind because I think you learn better that way, but other employees struggled to learn how to input data and write leases, which made everyone else's job a little harder.
Commission is divided amongst leasers, which does not incentivize leasers to work hard individually, because as long as someone else closes, you get paid. Commission is also low, especially compared to how much the company profits off of each lease. Again, I'm not sure if this is property wide, but at my property, it was $50 a lease, on apartments that were bringing in $2500/month.

    Advice to Management

Maybe try to create a uniform training program so that everything is the same across the board, property to property.
Incentivize your leasers! Utilize the commission tier and increase the pay-out with every new sale.

I worked at Asset Campus Housing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great company to work for. The property management industry can be unstable at times but with a company like Asset. I know I would always have a job. They are willing to relocate you if a job opportunity comes up.

    Cons

There isn't much room for pay raises. They have a set amount they pay everyone and its very hard to get a raise even if you are doing a great job.

    Advice to Management

Give credit where credit is due in means of a pay raise.

    Pros

Easy job lots of learning and great on resume. Anyone can work this job. Pay is great when you work a lot of hours

    Cons

A lot of tests you have to take when you first start - fair housing stuff. Can be difficult when dealing with residents
