I worked at Asset Living part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Once ACH took over the previous management, the performance began to become more productive amongst CA. Management pushing strict criteria and increase the company's standards at the leasing level.

    Cons

The company has poor to no creative strategies when it comes to digital marketing, outreach marketing, and cold calls.

  5. "Zero Training, Unrealistic Expectations"

    StarStarStarStarStar

I have been working at Asset Living

    Pros

    Competitive Pay, Easy Onboarding Experience

    Cons

Absolutely no training for any level of employees, unrealistically high expectations, micromanagement at many levels, no positivity from management, very negative mindset, employees are not appreciated, ideas are not listened to and most of the time corporate doesn't even reply to emails but they will outwardly shame employees if expectations are not met, despite not giving them the resources to do their jobs. No structure and no efficiency.

Train your employees and listen to them. Stop using shame and embarrassment as a tactic and actually encourage employees to do a good job.

I have been working at Asset Living full-time for more than a year

    Pros

looked nice on resume for better employers in the future

    Cons

overworked and underpaid. I was expected to entirely handle the marketing on my first week. Oh, and they didn't train me other than showing me how one program on the computer operated to keep tabs on resident payments and contacting prospects.

    Advice to Management

Structure the support jobs. Don't just rely on the PM because they're swimming in other things they have to do. Automate the training process for _Every_ aspect of the job, not just sales.

I have been working at Asset Living full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Asset is fantastic, I’ve never felt like I was ostracized or unaccepted. They have always been phenomenal. They promote from within, and take into consideration your learning experience and skills. They treat their employees like family. Some regionals are phenomenal, others need to be more positive and offer constructive criticism. Micromanaging on a company wide level is not an issue at all! They make you feel like family. HR department, support and accounting are awesome! So quick!

    Cons

No 401K match. Need to earn PTO a bit faster. Healthcare could be free for employees.

    Advice to Management

Make more time for training your employees face to face. Not just Computer based learning. Also, make more time for people to get to know your higher ups. Have more training for your Community Assistants! Higher more regionals, and RLTDs or make a new department, solely based on Traveling training directors! Listen to your employees that actually want to promote! Make a case to pay your employees more to ownership groups.
