I worked at Asset Management Specialists full-time

    Pros

I learned a lot about property preservation.

    Cons

Pay is low, high turnover rate because the owners don't want to give people raises or benefits - if you make it beyond 90 days they fire you for some made up reason. They'd rather keep hiring new people for lower wages then keep people on and have to give them raises and benefits; they are one of the most unethical companies I've ever worked for. Very unprofessional to their employees and have no empathy for people AT ALL.

    Advice to Management

Take some courses to teach you ethical behavior and the basics of human decency.

Fun co employees, flexible hours, laid back environment, chill job to take it easy and relax at times

    Cons

Sometimes can get very stressful, low pay, management doesn't give much help, expect you to get everything done without assisting

    Advice to Management

Get your act together, stop hiring nothing but temps, in the long run it costs you more.

I worked at Asset Management Specialists full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

As a Contractor Vendor - Independence

    Cons

Having to fight for your money every month, AMS will change agreed prices to their favor, find any reason to lower payout or just not put jobs done on inventory list. Contractor has to catch AMS's mistakes. No return calls. AMS uses old(pre 911)addresses causing waste time & Gas

    Advice to Management

Read the Bible and try to get an inkling of morality. Management is 180 degrees from what should be. Fire all upper management, hire back the people whom had morals and left the company. Both brokers I did work for Hated AMS - unusual for them to stick their necks out to give their opinion.
