    Pros

    Good people
Generally a good strategy and culture set from the board which includes largely autonomous TOM for the individual businesses.
Large company with broad career opportunities

    Cons

Benefits are poor particularly bonus which is set very arbitrarily and is well below par.
Share options etc preserve of only the very senior team.
Pay is ok but overall packages are well below par compared to other FTSE 100 companies.
Flexible working and home working not really offered or embraced.
A tendency to top down management and a micro management culture in some areas.

    Advice to Management

Better benefits and more engagement with the employees.
More anonymous staff surveys to identify poor management and leadership practices.
