I have been working at Associated Financial Group

    Pros

Great opportunities for advancement and good benefits. Very robust internal resources for new hires and training.

    Cons

I would say some of the compensation for certain positions should be reviewed to make sure it's competitive in the market place with similar positions.

I worked at Associated Financial Group

    Pros

Excellent support staff. For mid and large group clients AFG has great tools that truly differentiate themselves from their competition. They are very good in the benefits arena. They have improved with their property and casualty practice as well, but their bread and butter is definitely benefits.

    Cons

Your just a number as a sales person. They have a reputation of churning and burning their sales reps and it is well deserved. Management consist of an ole boys network and if you are not a favorite, it is very tough to succeed.
