    I have been working at Assurant full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    I've been with the company for almost 13 years and LOVE it here. I've always been treated with the upmost respect and have promoted up to different postions in the company. The place is more like a second home than a job to me. My coworkers are alwasy nice and friendly. The managment staff really goes out of their way to make sure we have a good work enviorment. Right now they are working on improving our break room so that we have a nice place to go and relax during our breaks. They bring food in for us to enjoy and have even recently brought a food truck our site. There is always something fun and exciting going on.

    Our benefits are really good with medical, dental and vision all starting from the day you start working, along with the ability to start earning paid time off.

    Cons

    Some calls can be stressful at times.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!

    Pros

    Helping the customers made going to work worth it.

    Cons

    There's a lack of order and ownership to alot of things that go on. There is really no room to grow and there is no real leadership.

    Advice to Management

    Don't set your employees up to fail. Please make sure the systems are up to date so that everything won't crash while the agent is on the phone. Don't tell your employees that it's room to grow, but later tell the that it's only if the move to Miami. Become better leaders.

    Some of the people that work there are nice

    Cons

    Terrible hours

    Peanuts pay

    They want you to be multitasked for no extra pay

    Awful management - like children

    A lot of brown-nosing by employees

    Not long enough breaks/lunch for how stressful the job can get

    Advice to Management

    Get off your high horses and start MANAGING, treating your employees better and going out for 'meetings' that involve alcohol whilst practically everyone is left to work get nothing - should not happen.

    Also, GROW UP

    There are no pros right now.

    Cons

    On the IT side the reorg made no sense whatsoever. everything is disjointed, no one knows who to speak with or where to go to get things done,

    Pros

    I worked for this company for a short time but during my time there the environment was amazing. Great people. Amazing purpose. Great learning experience.

    Cons

    For me it was a bit of a conflict in my schedule because of the drive I had everyday for work and that I was pregnant as well. During the 90 day period you can't miss work and I missed quite a bit of work due to appointments.

    Advice to Management

    Work with schedules more.
