There's been considerable change going on at the company, but with change come opportunity.

I worked at Assurant full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

People are for the most part great but some negative people can ruin the whole bunch.
Great benefits that start the first day.
Good training before you go on the phones.
Upper management cares about the lower totem pole people.

    Cons

    Chaotic.
    Unstable scheduling.
Some negative people can spread discontent.
    Favoritism.

    Advice to Management

Stop playing favorites with certain employees.
Otherwise thank you for caring about every person there.

I have been working at Assurant full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Quite familial, Assurant tries really hard to create a community with its employees.

    Lots of room to grow.

The arcade in the break room is quite a plus, allows us to have bonding well with coworkers.

    Cons

Rigorous enforcement on disciplinary actions. Don't think you'll be able to use or even touch your phone during your shift.

Still tragically understaffed, and the staff that they do have is underpaid for what they do.

    Advice to Management

Let people take more time off, or even be late. Let people use their phones, and browse the internet when not taking calls. If you don't waste our time while we're on your payroll, we won't waste yours when we get a customer.
