I worked at Assurant full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

None for the average worker. Management ran the company under and they will be looking for work too. May they one day be treated how they treated those under them.

    Cons

Too many to list. Management only in it for themselves. Have no concern for the little guy. If they can screw you out of money so they can get more, they will.

I worked at Assurant full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I'm sure there are reasons however I can't think of any reason anyone why anyone would work here. Unless McDonalds is your only other option.

    Cons

Management stinks - They don't know the write answer half the time and just make up something then you have to make tons of notes just to CYA because they will write you up for their mistake as well....
    crappy hours
mandatory OT - I love OT but one day I couldn't do it so I didn't I got written up the next day.

    Advice to Management

fire all management and start again. Or just read all the reviews on Glassdoor everyone can't be wrong..

    Pros

    Casual workplace and nice associates

    Cons

No one is able to make decisions on their own. Everything must be signed off on, no matter the skills you have displayed. No trust in the employees.

    Advice to Management

Trust your employees. Empower your employees. Things sit and wait and are unaddressed due to the need of some TLs and managers to know about every single file.
