I worked at Astreya Partners full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I worked for a client onsite through Astreya Partners for almost 5 yrs. I had a rocky start mainly because of the leaders that I was working under however when they hired the last program manager (DB) things got much better and I must say things got much better and I enjoyed my work very much so. The HR team is very nice and friendly and always available to help out with any issues. I had to leave Astreya because I was relocating. They also had great training plans through cbt nuggets which I thought was awesome. They always organized few fun/team building events every few months for the team which certainly was fun.

    Cons

Need more new opportunities to advance in a role/to gather advance experience. Need more sick/PTOs. Proper training programs/strategy is much needed.

    Advice to Management

When hiring new employees for any/(a) project I would strongly recommend hiring people from different companies instead hiring the whole lot from one company. By doing that you are basically brining in the same mindset/culture to the team. Hiring from different companies can bring in diverse experience, knowledge and different mindset to the team.

    Pros

They allow you to do the job you were hired to do and give you more than adequate support.

    Cons

On their quarterly calls it's often hard to get in due to port restrictions.

    Advice to Management

    Astreya Partners Response

Apr 4, 2017 – Sr. HR Operations Manager

Thank you for the feedback. On the quarterly calls, we were able to correct the maximum number of attendees in the February 2017 call. Not sure what you mean by port restrictions, though. Please ... More

I have been working at Astreya Partners full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I love coming to an amazing place of work on a daily and the work that I am doing makes me feel like I doing something important, something that will truly impact people's lives.

    Cons

Being a Vendor at Google. Astreya cares more about the customer then the employees and Google does not care for the vendors at all.

    Advice to Management

Pay closer attention to the employees. Value them more. The employee insurance is ridiculously outrages. Okay for an employee but then tripled if you have any dependents.

I have been working at Astreya Partners full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Being able to work in the Google office. Free food and TGIAF. Being able to learn multiple things at once.

    Cons

Lack of teamwork and management. There's always someone calling out and management doesn't do anything about any issues or concerns that you may have.

    Advice to Management

Hire people with actual management experience that are actually good with taking care of their employees instead of calling them out on what they did wrong.

I worked at Astreya Partners full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I was able to get excellent experience in a well known company that I wouldn't have been able to get without Astreya's relationships. I placed my trust in Chuck Eggert and Astreya and it worked out very well for me. Any issues that I had that required help from Astreya HQ for support was handled quickly and thoroughly. I ended up getting converted to an FTE, which was not my original expectation. I'd consider future opportunities with Astreya and will always keep in touch.

    Cons

It depends on how you're treated by your client. I was treated well. Astreya was hands off with the client so the corporate culture was really the clients corporate culture. Other than my dealings with Chuck, I'm not familiar with the rest of the Astreya senior leadership team because I worked off-site, at the clients location.

    Advice to Management

More PTO and or/sick days. Work/life balance depends on the engagement. I became very focused on becoming an FTE. That's a choice I made, and wasn't compelled to make by Astreya.

I worked at Astreya Partners full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

All the pro are in the past. I can't not think of any. The five star review are fake or the person is on drug.

    Cons

Wait too many to name every single one. Poor hiring of management is the the main con. All they care is about themself. Too much favoritism. Get rid of all the current manager and start over. I would start with the CFO. She need to get evaluated. She micro manage everyone but who us watching her.

    Advice to Management

Treat everyone equal. Right now you have no clue how to do that.

    Pros

Free food that is provided by client- not by Astreya Partners

    Cons

Leeching company. We ask for raise and Manager tells us that we get free food from Google so we get to save money. LOL how messed up is that. Terrible environment, managers act like they have their head shoved up so high up in their butts and many butt kissers. By the way this company got hacked and my identity could possibly been taken.

    Advice to Management

    Take a real management class
