    Pros

I have been with Astron for a long time. Astron provided freedom to experiment with new ideas. I feel the culture rewards risk taking, hard work and drive. The company promotes from within and provides accelerated growth to high achievers.

    Cons

Have to be self driven as micro-management tends to be low. Client facing positions can be demanding

    Advice to Management

    Not at this time

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Astron Consulting full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very good place to start or enhance your career in. Lots of areas of expertise (IT, business process, strategy, etc.). Lots of networking opportunities with people from all over the world who work for or who will work for very big or up-and-coming companies. Astron does seem to make an active effort to have a diverse team.

    Cons

I don't have at the time being.

    Advice to Management

Astron's main asset is their people, invest in them, and they will reward you.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Astron Consulting full-time

    Pros

IT telecom industry, which is proving to be very profitable right now

    Cons

Management leads by intimidation, is not interested in employee development or advancement. Practices are legally and ethically questionable. Would not recommend employer for anyone looking to enhance their career "the right way."

    Advice to Management

Direct your managers to follow the law and not to try to find loopholes and push employees to violate regulations.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Astron Consulting as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - If you work hard and honest you wont be without work for long [took them only 2 weeks to get me a new deployment after my initial contract expired].
    - The most fair payment compared to other contracting companies, They got me hired with Ericsson, I started with 12/h + 20/h for perdium AND they pay me 0.50 per mile driven after 50
    - Very nice people to work with.

    Cons

    Nothing I can think of.

    Advice to Management

    Keep the good work.
