I worked at Asurion part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They offer benefits and 401 k. Secure area and building.

    Cons

They offer no automatic paid time off or vacation and really strict attendance policy. Really high call volume ( I would usually take about 120 calls on an 8 hour shift) Very bad management. HR does not know company policy. Also there was a case of bed bugs in my section.

    Advice to Management

When I started working for this company they a really cared for their employees. Now management is terrible they are way to strict with their attendance policy. You receive a write up following termination for not being above 94% attendance yet this company does not give you any vacation or sick time.

Very low pay and training is a rush job the supervisors and trainers put to much pressure on new hires and grade them on the same Q and A as season employees

I have been working at Asurion (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits. That's the only thing that's is ok here but you have enough to pay for your co pay.

    Cons

Beside the benefits this a horrible place to work. Especially with at&t. The att reps have no ideal what they are doing when selling the insurance and you get yelled at, crused out and even belittled. Expect nothing from your coaches to preach to you about bonusing because it helps them. I've only been here 4 months and it was the worst decision I ever made. Asurion and att can do a lot better if they worked together but they don't.

I have been working at Asurion (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Able to work at home, and they do provide great training to work at home

    Cons

Working for third party, so when they lose the contract with the line of business you are working on, there are lay offs

    Advice to Management

Plan better to ensure that there is not chaos when you have to layoff people.

    Pros

The no pros to this job

    Cons

I've work for Asurion for a couple of months I'm glad I left , you barely get paid unless you speak Spanish, the only way you can move up is if u are gay , your have to deal with customers that are either racist or have bull crapy as attitudes , the supervisors try to be friends with ppl and get them off the phone for no reason and they like to be all in your business and snitch on you . Trust me you can find a better job that pays way more then this.

    Advice to Management

    Get you sups in check
