    Pros

Watching the games for free, meeting the fans and players. Friday night lights. Good food! People you work with are awesome.

    Cons

Standing all day and your coworkers are sitting...unfair. The pay is very low. The employee room is always crowded and small.

    Advice to Management

Stock the employee store with hoodies and hats and jerseys instead of just bobble heads and key chains, its really unfair and hurt my feelings that you don't care enough to put good stuff out for the hardworking people.

I have been working at Atlanta Braves full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, most of the staff is friendly and helpful. After all it's baseball!

    Cons

Long hours but that comes with the territory. Not much emphasis nor direction from the company regarding professional growth or developing any mgmt/leadership skills. It's up to you to discover ways of developing yourself. As long as things are "seemingly" going well you're left alone. No proper training or protocol to follow, you find out as you go. There is a lack of accountability/transparency in some areas.

    Advice to Management

Atlanta executive mgmt. get more involved! "Seemingly well" is a bad place to be. Turn over should not be high in any area of your full time staff if everything is "well". Don't lose good people for lack of knowledge or because you don't want to ask the hard questions. "I didn't know that was happening" won't cut it in the end. Don't let a few bad apples ruin your wonderful tree.

I worked at Atlanta Braves (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The fans are the best despite the drunk and sometimes rude ones. I loved most of my co workers also, but that the same for most jobs.

    Cons

Management needs a mass improvement. Also respect among employees is a problem. Adults should act as such and leave childish ways at home.

    Advice to Management

My advice for management is to not take the old problems from the old stadium and transfer all of the same bad habits into the new stadium.

I worked at Atlanta Braves part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I worked as a Guest Relations Rep, on a team of about 8-10 people. Everyone got along for the most part, and our supervisors, Hannah and Erin ROCKED! They were very accommodating and really made sure that the team was taken care of. Training was easy and straightforward.

    Cons

    --The Pay
--When innings go long, it can be pretty tiring. There were many times I went home exhausted and my feet on fire.

    Advice to Management

Maybe offer extra monetary incentives for the longer hours?

I worked at Atlanta Braves part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's the braves, and it's awesome to work for the Braves

    Cons

Pandering people. Placement and moving up in the company seems to be based upon relationships rather than skill

I have been working at Atlanta Braves part-time

    Pros

Flexible. Great learning experience. Able to receive free games from manager. 15% discount on merchandise.

    Cons

Not family oriented. Huge divide between full time and part time staff. Have to pay to park. Expected to do a lot but little appreciation and rewards. Pay is low when compared how much work is done.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate part time employees more. Treat full time and part time employees equal. Each member is important piece to the organization. If it wasn't for the part timers, a lot of the full timers wouldn't being able to succeed in their goals.

I have been working at Atlanta Braves part-time

    Pros

I can say working for the Atlanta Braves is a great job, you have the chance to interact with such great people, fans, co-workers, and etc.

    Cons

The pay is terrible, they should really think about upping the pay for gameday staff we do so much but get paid so litte.

Better gameday staff store, It wasn't that exciting as they made it out to be in orientation and training.

    Advice to Management

Talk to someone about gameday staff, getting paid more. Have some consideration.
