I have been working at Atlantic Coast Brands full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I started at Atlantic Coast Brands a little over 5 years ago and have grown with the company into a very promising role. The company has been supportive and is open to new ideas. We continue to grow and expand into new areas and I hope to be part of that growth for some time.

    Cons

Like many companies ACB had some growing pains but that is all in the past , we have a strong more productive company and are on track to reach our full potential as a company.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to your teams feedback.

    Pros

Excellent corporate environment with great leadership

    Cons

A little boring with a traditionally "professional" environment

    Advice to Management

Hire some young people and liven up the atmosphere. Get an interior designer to bring your space to life!

I have been working at Atlantic Coast Brands full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A real meritocracy where employees at all levels of the organization are empowered to help improve the business. This means that junior level people find themselves with large areas of responsibility if they are ready, willing and able. Also a great work atmosphere with little to no of the political bs you find in many orgs. The bottom line is that people really like each other at ACMG and enjoy their day to day work life.

    Cons

At one point there was an in house call center (product specialists) which had to be shut down due to rampant behavioral issues. Also, lean times several years ago resulted in a right sizing of the org which unfortunately meant some good people were let go.

    Pros

Good benefits, pleasant co-workers,company sponsored events,ACMG charity events to help the community.

    Cons

Company policies change day by day,no consistancy,lay-offs every 3 months. No work reviews.

    Advice to Management

Be consistant make changes gradually, don't overhire, and a shame to have to outsource your call center nationally and internationally, especially when NJ State gave you funds to hire and emply locally!

    Pros

The company is in a great location (Newport area of Jersey City) and full of great people. It's a joy to come to work every day.

    Cons

I could probably make more doing the same job in a more corporate environment, but I wouldn't leave here for the world.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the growth, keep the environment fun, and keep the outsourcing to a minimum. There's nothing a third party vendor can do that we can't do better.

I have been working at Atlantic Coast Brands full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A fast paced environment filled with passionate and smart employees. The co-CEO's encourage a feeling of ownership in every employee, regardless of level. All new ideas are welcome and respected, even if not the employees area of responsibility. A total lack of the bureaucratic b.s. which sucks the life out of most companies.

    Cons

Busy, busy, busy! Creative minds are always dreaming up new projects, but better than the alternative!

    Pros

The founders had great vision in mind and wanted to achieve a lot with less people. The business model and revenue is from autoships. it is difficult to survive a company with such a model.

    Cons

The company went through a lot of a layoffs and management changes. Some changes were too drastic and quick
