Great place to learn fast
May 7, 2021 - Intern Analyst in New York, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Variety of projects to work on (buy side, sell side, marketing, industry research), in various industries, across US, LATAM, and Europe. For me it was a great experience, fast moving environment where new projects are coming in all the time. Many opportunities to take initiative and get things going, which is appreciated as long as you keep focus on the most important deliverables.
Cons
Character of the firm is driven by its size and focus; it is a relatively small boutique. Your exposure to projects is high, but of course the size of the firm implies limitations of growth.
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Variety of transactions in both industry and dynamics
Cons
Sometimes understaffed and hours can be quite long
- Current Intern★★★★★
Pros
- A lot of responsibilities at a junior level - Very smart seniors - A rather small deal team allowing a high exposure
Cons
- Harsh hours sometimes, but as everywhere
- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
After atlas advisors replaced previous subcontractor all working conditions became worse, and first of all they decreased salaries so I didn't notice positive sides.
Cons
Poor management, especially "new old" manager is like "storm", absolutely unpredictable person and unqualified, linguists need to perform his duties as he is not even acquainted with Excel
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
great for china cross border investment experience
Cons
only for the smartest people
